I wanted to ask what type of MOCs you prefer building, and why. Here are my categories:
History vs fiction vs you: This is about your inspiration. Do you prefer to draw on historical sources, such as actual people, places, events, the stories and legends told during the medieval era, etc? Or do you prefer to draw on recent fictional sources, like modern books or movies set in the medieval era of this world or in fantasy worlds like Middle Earth or Narnia etc? Or do you find most of your inspiration internally, coming up with your own worlds and stories?
Mundane vs fantastic: Here I don't mean dull vs exciting, I mean 'mundane' in the sense of 'not magical'. This is like knights and armor and shops and farms etc. I mean 'fantastic' in the sense of 'magical or otherwise otherworldly' - dragons and wizards etc.
I'll give one example of each, from various builders:
History, mundane - James Pegrum built a whole series of 'History of Britain' MOCs, such as this rendition of the assassination of Thomas Becket.

History, fantastic - Kaarde illustrated this scene from the late 14th century work Gawain and the Green Knight.

Fictional (recent, not you), mundane - Kumplekant's Flea Bottom comes from A Game of Thrones - I chose this to emphasize that while that series has fantastic elements, this particular scene does not (and, to be honest, almost all recent medieval movies and books are either history or fantasy based, certainly I had trouble finding MOCs based on some straight-up historical fiction).

Fictional (recen, not you), fantastic - Tons of stuff out there for this. Let's go with Lisqr's Sauron.
