Note: Sorry, I would've put a frog here, because it's Lenfald, but I didn't have any!

(Continuing the story)
Sir Ian Ferguson, Bjorn Thorfinn, and Luke Hawkens, the renegade dragon soldier journeyed deeper into the province of Lenfald. They needed an apothecary, both Ian and Bjorn had suffered brutal injuries at the hands of the mercenary knight, The Hawk. Bjorn's head injuries were becoming worse, he had a nasty bruise, and it did not seem to be improving. Along the road, the silence was interrupted. "I can't go much further" said Bjorn. "Can we stop and make camp here for the night?"
Hawkens returned "This would be a good place. There is a town near here, one of us could ride to seek help for Bjorn." Soon they had tethered their horses and unloaded their gear at a small, secluded clearing a fair distance from the road. "Luke, you stay here and get a fire going. See if you can examine Bjorn's injuries further so the apothecary can have more information. I will ride to fetch him." After a half hour's ride to the village, he found a man named Kenneth who was willing to help them, and returned to the campsite. As they drew near, Sir Ian heard voices, all unfamiliar except that of a panicked-sounding Hawkens. "N-no! Leave me, now!"
"You dropped out us" Said a husky, mean-sounding voice "The boss doesn't like that, not at all, does he? Hey boys, do ya know what the boss wants done to traitors?" Some scornful chuckling, then Hawkens again. "I can have you reported to the High Queen Galainir! She can deal with ya, she'll punish, ya, all of ya!"
"Not if ye're dead, no 'ya can't!"
Ian crept up behind a bush surrounding the camp and peered through, motioning for Kenneth to stay back. He saw Bjorn, lying on the ground, groaning, and in his undergarments for examination. A number of brutish-looking men, armed, some in the villainous red of Galainir were closing in on a terrified-looking Hawkens, who had raised his shortsword and shield.
Ian decided now was the time to act. He sprang out, rolled, snatched up his trusty spear from the ground, and sent it hurtling at the closest marauder to him, the one that seemed to be the ringleader, who gave a grunt of surprise and pain and fell backwards with the spear in his stomach. Sir Ian now unsheathed his mighty claymore and turned to face the next ma, who sneered and prepared to attack. Hawkens saw his chance and started fighting with another man, who was armed with a spear and clad in a black hood. Soon, their enemies lay dead on the ground, or fleeing away to the road. "Luke! Are you alright?"
"I'm fine, I have a few small cuts and bruises, but many thanks for saving my life there."
"This is the doctor, Kenneth. Kenneth, you can come out now!"
The man advanced out from the bushes and stopped to examine Bjorn.
Sir Ian suddenly just realized what he had done. He had killed a man, ended a life. No matter if it was an evil man, who wanted to kill his friend and served an evil master, he had cut short a life. It was a hard thing, how would he be able to do it again in the imminent war?
