Cool! It looks like Henry made a safe trip to Germany. :D

We need a shot of Jojo holding him, and Henry visiting a few sites in Germany

Then it is off to Canada I think. Hmm, I need to get on this mailing list

Exactly.

Those are the places Henry visited today. And he has seen SNOW for the first time in his life! (pics = links):

Image
Der Steinerne Turm. The Stone Tower. A watchtower about one mile outside the walls of Dortmund, my hometown.

Image
Der Adlerturm. The Eagle Tower. The last remaining tower of the former walls of Dortmund. Well, not exactly "remaining" because they rebuilt it in the 80ies after they found the foundation walls during some road works. The eagle on top is the city arms of Dortmund and fits well with my Black Falcon ;)

Image
Die Marienkirche. Maria's Church. One of four medieval churches downtown Dortmund.

Image
Die Reinoldikirche. St. Reinold's Church. Reinold is the patron saint of Dortmund. This is the main church and it's just across from the Marienkirche.

Image
Finally der Propsteihof. The Provost Yard. That's what remained from a former cloister. It's right next to the Probsteikirche (Provost Church), the third of the four medieval churches in Dortmund.

We decided not to visit the fourth church because it was way too cold! Not as cold as in Canada but definitely colder than in California.

Pics with Henry coming soon.

Bye

Jojo,

Is Henry going to visit your MOCs in addition to his real life sight-seeing?

Yep. He's signed my guest book already ;)

(pic = link, as usual)

Unfortunately my camera does not good focusing on near things that stand in front of a prominent background. So most of the real life pics are quite fuzzy :-(

And There's no pic of Henry and me. Except the first one, of course...

The Henry trip to Quebec is over, and we put, me and Henry, some picture at this address for the Henry travel album.
http://www.inorchestral.com/David_Girard_Lego/Henry

In "At_Home" folder, there is Henry adventures with my Minifigs, in my Lego World.

In "Quebec_City" folder, there is Henry adventures march, 7 2004 in Quebec city, by a glaze day, helped by my girlfriend. We walked in Quebec city, and we took the boat, (traversier in french) to take some pictures from the Saint-Laurent River.

Now Henry will go to Calgary, Alberta, Canada to visit Will.
This was a great experience ! :D

Nice pics David,

I am looking forward to showing Henry around Calgary. I will try to get downtown and get a few pics with the Calgary Tower. Between Old_Repulic and myself we should be able to make Henry's visit interesting. I'll let everyone know when he arrives.:D

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

Dagnabbit!
I wanted to post these myself, along with the story of Henry, chapters which occurred at my house... I finally got all the pics uploaded, over my slow internet connection, which took me two days, then it was Thanksgiving... was going to do it tonight, right now, but alas...

Let me answer first why Henry has been at my house so long. Because we had 4 weeks of pink eye here which is extremely contagious. Not really cool to send that along as well. I was about ready to send him on right after Halloween. I got pink eye. Then Wyatt got it. then Colten got it. Then Wyatt got it again. It is over with now, and hopefully, Lemon will not pick up any stray germs. I can see a state to state, country to country epidemic of pink eye in the news, with it all being my fault :P Now I am hoping I have not sent Flu germs along...

I will go ahead and tell a much briefer version of my story without any links or much ado now, that the whole thing is kind of a bust. Dang paparrazzi and their leaked photos....

Henry arrived, stayed at the Guarded Inn. There was a mysterious girl there. They talked, and he was smitten with the kitten. He gave her flowers. She kissed him on the cheek. Then her boyfriend showed up, and threatened Henry with his bow and arrows and prowess. Chased him off. Henry was so scared, he ran without paying his bill, which got the Tavern lady running after him as well.

Henry searched high and low for the winsome creature he had met at the Guarded Inn. He knew she was a special prize, so he set out on a quest.
He found himself in a land of little people, and they were very hospitable.

He knocked on the door of a castle surrounded by magic, and ended up in the midst of a Halloween costume party with some students and a very large man. He had a great time, and enjoyed a few too many witches' brews, so he had to sit back and worship the throne awhile.

Henry moved on a little late in the morning after those particular festivities, and made it to the swamp by dusk. He met a little green man and some guy with a robot. They played levitation games and sat by the fire.

Henry also stumbled across a secret training site where he became friends with some pilots who let him drive their craft. They pointed him in the direction of the beauty he sought.

Finally, he got to the land he set out for, and he could just feel in the breeze that his love was there. He found her, and she was a Princess! Princess Ophelia. He met her parents, and stayed in the castle. She begged her Father to let them have some time alone, and they were given an escort to town, where they spent a lovely day seeing the sights. They had a romantic picnic by the famous Mississippi River, and I think he got a few more smooches.

I think that about covers every section of pics.

HenrysQuest which has pics of Henry at Guarded Inn, meeting the girl, getting kisses, being chased off by both the BF and the Innkeeper, Henry on his quest in the land of the little people, visiting Dagobah, the clone training and the Xwing hanger, and crashing the Halloween party at Hogwart's.

HenrysMOC which showsa MOC of Princess Ophelia's castle home, and Henry meeting her parents, and a few stolen moments in the castle.

HenryinTown
which has pics of Henry and Ophelia seeing the sights and spending some private time on a picnic by the river.

Thanks, and hope you enjoy the pics, story and MOC. I do appreciate Feedback, as this is my first MOC ever- but be gentle! ;)

Jen,

Thanks for the story; now the pictures make more sense. It hasn't gone all bust, though, because I hadn't seen the MOC for Henry. That was great as well.

Due to popular demand and a few well placed kicks, I have edited my original BS folders with the Henry pics, as I have resized all my pics and reorganized them, and added one or two, as well. I apologize for the unnecessarily large pics and general disorganization at first. As I said, I was not quite ready to have them shown to begin with when they were leaked here. I was actually in process of trying to work on the folders, and was asking around for help at the time. But I realize they got leaked, so I hurried up to try to post links to them. Now I can see just how obnoxious they were. I apologize.

Anyway, here is a link to my original post, with the background story, and all new links. LINKY-POO
