And although you couldn't consider it a theme, X-Pods are cool.

My favorite aside from Castle or Ancients.... is Near-Future Military. Actually I have my own theme running from 1980s to 2030s.

Wow, out of three pages only one other person is into Adventurers (at least my name). That's surprising.

My theme preferences in this order:

Space: is the place. the most room for creativity here.

Castle: lego was built for this.

Pirates: A lot of classic sets with character

Licenced Themes(StarWars, Spiderman, etc): I usually dont bother with the sets but lots of great pieces.

I have to say that the custom GI Joe Lego that Legofreak is making are starting to get right up on a even plane with Castle for me. It may not be an "official" line but oh well.

I don't have any pics of the stuff I have made with his customs. But go to Brickshelf.com and under members type in, thelegofreak, also check out amishpolack the same way. They both are darn good customisers and nice guys to boot.

If you like these torso decals by Legofreak, you'll also love B.I.Joe by Gil Shaw and Jamie Neufeld.
