BF Blue Vs BF Yellow

I've always wanted to know which people like better and why.

I vote for Blue, becuase it seems to fit the BF color scheme better than the Yellow.

I prefer the blue because it matches the figs better. But just because I prefer the blue doesn't mean I don't like the yellow. Both are awesome, but blue is slightly more awesome.

Ditto. The Black Falcons I had when I was a kid were always black and blue in color, no red belts or yellow shields. It just seems...'right'...that way.

Aye! Blue just goes with em. The yellow, I'll admit gives just enough contrast, but I still like blue soldiers. I mean, can you imagine YELLOW falcons?

The yellow shields don't make the slightest ounce of sense to me. I don't hate them, but given the color scheme of Black Falcon figures in general, the yellow shield is a distant second to the blue shield.

I voted yellow for two reasons. A) My only BF shield is yellow, and B) to be contrary.

Seriously, though, the yellow border adds a touch of contrast to an all black-and blue figure.

Blue definitely goes better with the soldiers, and were I to equip a Falcon army, I would much prefer blue-rimmed shields.

That said, this poll asked what shield I LIKED better, not what shield MATCHED better.

I like the yellow one better. Enough said.

Blue. The only time I would use yellow ones are when I only had 1 blue: Now I have over 25 blue, and my yellow ones haven't been used since. They don't match the figs or theme - I would use them if it was for figure that wasn't Black Falcon, but never for a Black Falcon itself. They never made sense to me.

Well, i like blue because it looks more classic and old, which is good. I don't actually care if the shield IS old, it just LOOKS old

In my opinion it is the only one that really fits in with the rest of the fig. The yellow is somewhat misplaced..':?'

Then there is the thing with the GREEN flags that the BF have in some earlier set(s?).

I like the Yellow Shield much better. It complements the monochrome blue (if not counting silver and black) Falcon torso quite well. The BF's seemed to have a more equal proportion of sets with yellow and blue shields than the Lions did, atleast in the beginning.

I also like the old white and green Falcon flag combination (stokes the conversational fire a bit more... ). Any accessory or flag combination that adds diversity to a theme without being too distracting is good. I think the Yellow border shields do this well.
