The eraser should work on any color of LEGO. I have used it to erase the mic from Obiwan from the Jedi Starfighter too. All you need is a little muscle and some patience.

Sorry... I think I'm a little behind the times on this one... but I just want to be sure... are you saying that an eraser is effective in erasing the details of a minifig torso?
