Redwall customs
these are customs i made using sculpy. they are from a series of books called RedWall where all the characters are mice and moles and otters and ferrets and rats etc...
the heads are made with sculpey and the tails are made by glueing a lego pipe to a scrap of lego cloth and inserting between torso and legs of minifigs. the Redwall books are sort of medevil with swords and castles but no humans and the creatures walk on hindlegs
here is my vermin horde of ferrets, stoats , and weasles

wow... that looks like it took some serious time. I always thought it would be cool if Lego did Redwall... there could be all sorts of possibilities with the custom minifigs.
Anway, well done - and a cool idea to try that out.

I haven't actually read any of them yet, but my son read the first 6-8 books, so I'm somewhat familiar with them. I've been meaning to give it a try once I finish some of the three books I'm working on simultaneously.
The figs are interesting - baked or just raw?

I kind of figured you were a Redwall fan by your name. Gonff is one of my favorite characters, him and Basil Stag Hare. Very nice job on the heads. The best, in my opinion, is the mole. One thing that could use some work is the weasels. I am not sure if those are helmets on their heads or hair. Other than that, these are excellent.
Josh
PS. My son tried to make brick built Redwallers a while back. He built a few hares that turned out well, but they weren't minifig scale so he gave it up. I saved the hares though. Should post them some time.

AFOL and his money are easily parted.

I wouldn't have thought that they'd work out as minifigs. I was wrong. Nice job, Gonff. You gonna make a new sigfig for yourself?
Yes, but I always saw them as being actual toads, sitting on four legs instead of walking on two. They'd be a neat accesory, though; LEGO's one-stud frogs are kinda dull. Maybe someone could do a two or three-stud square toad.David C. wrote:Do any Toads appear in the Redwall stories?

it didnt take very long. like a week and a half it was a lot of fun doing it.
to TwoTonic Knight:
the figs are raw but im probabley going to bake them
to Josh:
it would be cool to see pics of the hares. i didnt work very hard on the vermin, it took me like 5-10 minutes each one and i wanted to make alot so i kind of rushed. they are helmets not hair. what do all of you think of the tails?
to Lord Mikal:
yep i already have a sigfig of gonff , but im saving him for later. i always saw them as real toads too.
to TheOrk:
thanks alot . you can find sculpey at hobbie stores.
to Sir Kohran: what else is there to them but the heads :!: . you know i wasnt copying you . i thought your favorite character was Felldoh.
well my favorite characters are Gonff, martin, and many others
favorite books are Lord Brocktree and Mossflower
once again thanks . i didnt think i would get many coments
i personally think the mosuse head i the best( i worked on it for like hours) the mole took me a very short time. also do you all think the mole should have short of long pants.

Hey,
I've only read the first book but thought it was very fun. Your figs are great! I especially like the mole.
