A Black Falcon Chess set - non-contest entry

Post by SavaTheAggie »

As a contest judge I am not allowed to enter the contest.

But boy do I wish I could! :)

Jim (my boss) and I rolled this idea around a bit, and I decided to build it, even if I can't enter the contest. I offered to let Jim build it and enter, but he said it was my idea, so there ya go.

So I give you: A Black Falcon Chess Set:

* Note The Coolest Black Falcon Ever (TCBFE) is the King of this set, so you best be walkin' away from the table now. He don't ever lose.

Your rooks are lovin' life right now. And yes, your king is the coolest Black Falcon ever. I'm glad you can't enter the contest now; this would have surely kicked some serious trash!

It's a good thing you can't enter, cause you'd probably win, no matter who was judging. That rocks. :D

Very cool, Anthony! Kind of vignettes, chess set, castle all rolled into one. Great idea!

Hey Anthony,

This rocks! Are you going to build an opposing side?

Very cool. I'm jealous.

I think it's interesting that you didn't worry about the pawns all looking the same, you just built what was needed to make a good looking wall.

OH NO!!!!!!

I've been working on something so similar for the contest that I started a while ago, but now it would look like I copied you. Guess I won't be entering after all. :(

Looks great by the way.

EDIT: I came up with another idea for the contest so I will still enter.

I'm not sure I would want to play chess with it, but it sure does look great sitting there with all the pieces lined up.

... See, that's a idea that makes you go say," now why didn't I think of that?" Including the castle too! Not just the people! Ingenius!

Very nice Tony. A very original and dynamic solution to the 4x4 chess set piece size. Awesome!

Great job Tony! But you said you were staying home sick.... hmm maybe I need to check your posting times more carefully

I think you should work on the opposing side!
