Cool, good to see more close ups. And, yes, those are huge pics. Way too big.

It would have been nice to get some pics of the fortress, too.... But since we're all planning on getting it anyway, who needs closeup shots?

Extremely too big. Blurry, too. :x

I'm not gonna both loading them. To much time and effort.

I can't see why persons can't spend just a few minutes long editing photos to make them decent! :?

sorry nate, but not all of them are blurry - some are indeed well worth the wait. I loved all the pics of the minifigs.
I am definitely getting each one now simply because I like the figs in them.

He shows that in this set http://shop.lego.com/product.asp?p=7017&cn=235&d=7&t=3
There are two figs, not one. Do you think he got the figs mixed up or there really are two?

I think there are two, because there are different heads for them. If you look at each of the other sets, the guy with that grey beard is not in any of them..

I guess this series will be interesting for some, however, I do not plan on getting many of the sets. Lately, I have been needing sets with pieces that can be used for MOC's. Aside from that, I am a bit upset that TLC made stereotypical Vikings with horned helmets (helmets they did not have). Mostly though, I am a little more interested in the new kk2 line. One more thing, why does the longboat have a spit? lol

The horns are removable. And yes, Vikings did have helmets.

Yes, vikings did have helmets. Now that that is settled... I do actually think the line is appealing, however, I meant that I am more interested in what the kk2 sets have to offer. I think it is great that there is interest for both the viking and kk2 lines.

I thought the longship was supposed to have eight or nine minifigs in it.

The faces are horrid. Smilies, plastic beards, and old pirate faces for all of them.

Other than that, I can't wait.

High Res on all of them, atleast for me. :)

Awesome. Indeed, I would prefer old pirate faces or those red-bearded and Black Monarch oldie faces, but I can live with them. :D

I just found new pics of the viking fortress on brickshelf.
It looks pretty good.
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=135936
The pic of the folding up part of the box looks pretty interesting. I wonder how much you'd have to spend to set up something like that  .
The linking mechanism ( http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=1293186 ) also looks pretty clever
