the ropes are actually "ropey" looking.
:D

sorry if this has been pointed out before. I just noticed it... Is this also on the new pirate stuff?

No, I didn't notice it, but it's cool! And I have no idea if it's on the new pirate ships; I don't have any and don't intend to. ;)

Are you talking about the ratlines? I think that's just jpeg artifacting, anyone have a higher res pic?

hm you could be right. .it also doesnt look like the old rigging parts. Its straight up and down, whereas the old pirate rigging is tapered towards the end. maybe my eyes are just playing tricks on me. :D


ah well.. probably just wishful thinking. :wink:

I followed the links that dark avenger put up, the rope surfaces look smooth to me. And they do not appear to taper, they are the same width throughout their entire length.

I, as well, think it's just pixelation. The new shape though, looks useful.
