Custumizing sugestions

Post by Duke_Dave »

Hi everybody, I need a little help. I am creating a Mr. Beaver from the first Narnian story. I have him very near completion, My only problem is the tail. I have tried making it from cloth but it just doesn't look right, so my question is what piece would you suggest to use for the tail. now keep in mind I am open to anything that could possably work as I am willing to cut, carve, glue, paste, anything really. so if you have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

I've seen a brown snowshoe as a suggestion, but don't no where to find one.

I had the idea to use a brown two-hole cloak - put the two holes over the leg studs and trim the rest into the shape of a tail.

um well first what are u making this out of? Is it a mini fig? sculpy? An animal piece? I wouls sugest u either make a clay tail then glu it on, or use the end of an oar or a snow shoe. Also somone is using the standing rat from the shrieking shack for reapacheap, this may not look like a beaver but u could use that piece and glue a snow shoe, oar end, or clay piece to make mister bever. And as for miss beaver just take a pair of gagles and glue em to her head. Could u post some pics so we could see what they look like?
