Knights of the jellybean order.

Post by Pumpkinetics »

I know everyone hates the Jellybean knights, but you can't hate them all equally, can you? Surely there's one that might be worthwhile!

Anyway, not counting the large figures, or Vladek (only the coloured minifigs), I'm wondering which figure you hate the least, or, in the rarest of cases, like the most.

My favourite's Lord Santis, as I find him to be the most versatile of the figures. You can have him as accompaniment to the other knights, but if you buy a couple fireball catapults, you can instantly assemble an army of bloodthirsty beserkers! Yayyyy!!! Mindless violence!!!

Anyway, what's your favourite, and why?

i like the green guy the most, i like his visor, makes met think of a snake or something, and i like hisface, makes me think of someone i know. Worst: red guy, why? ugly visor, barbarian face decal, not looking happy, and on his shield is a bear??? OK, a monkey isnt good also, but it are good shields...

O, and santis looks better in the new outfit, and so does rascus :)

The KK2:1 figs are far from favorites, but are better for generic army-building than Morcian army building.

Lord(They are called Sir actually) Jayko must be the most useful, he has dark blue and a cool shield, second place is Sir Danju.

Visor: I find Danju's and Rascus' visors the best, since they are somewhat historically correct. The others only works on my morcian armies.

Shield: I sticker most of the "tower shields" except some for my morcian army. The others are all very useful and nice looking. Jayko's could be used as a Black Falcon shield.

Armor: Most useful must be the KK2:1 armors, even Jaykos. The others must work with knights with the heraldries.

Bodies: All except Jaykos are flexible to stickerate. The KK2:2 hands and midsections are very useful for different things.

Heads: All heads are great.

Heraldric animals:
Santis- Bear, believable.
Jayko- Hawk, believable.
Danju- Wolf, believable.
Rascus- Monkey, unbelievable, could have easily be burned as a heretic. (monkeys was thought of as imps in some medieval societies)

Vladek is the best KK2 knight but he isnt a jellybean.

My favorite is Rascus. His color is my favorite, and the design on his armor looks like runes. I find myself using his face and armor the most often:

I like the KKII-1 Rascus figure the best. The Celtic-like design on the armor is very nice and the helmet looks pretty nifty. I like the new heraldry for the KKII-2 Jellybeans as well, I think they are definitely improved, but I would have preferred not to have golden monkey armor.

I have recently made a few purchases and have made up an army of Jellybeans. I don't like the red visor, but I have decided not to complain about silly visors anymore. :D

Rascus all the way. I love his Celtic-rune armor: excellent for elves and Forestmen. I also love his face. The visor is meh, though, and he has the worse of the shields.

I like the bear-armor for Lord Santis as well, and Lord Jayko's tri sheild is cool.

I think the ultimate Rascus would be: Rascus head, dark green helmet, rune armor, green cape, dark green arms, green hands, dark green hips, green legs, an OLD pointed visor in green (which is not available in that color, so dark gray would have to do), Forestman shield and dark gray broadsword. 8)

Santis because he's red. The majority of my army consists of lions and black knights so I find his accesories most useful.

The Lord ones come in the second year sets: all the "Shadow Knight" set. The others came in the first year of KK2.

I voted for Danju (KK2-2) because I really like his heraldry that and I don't have any of the new figures yet and his looks best in the pictures. I also really like Santis because his armors red and he has kind of a barbaric face.
Right now I'm saving my money to get a bunch of santis figures and a bunch of vikings when they come out in the US. Then I can make a huge tribe of bear whorshiping barbarians.

Oh, I see. I think the Lord ones are waay cooler than the first wave guys. I don't own any, so I don't really know which one is my favorite.

I like either type of Jayko, even though I use all the others into parts for my armies. Jayko's color and heraldy are for my golden eagle bannered Atlanteans.

Rascus allll the way 8)

I picked him for the same reason everyone else who picked him did. Nice armor design for elf or woodland knight, nice helmet design, decent color (for Jellyland), and a cool face.
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.

Rascus, definately. I have the Citadel and the KK2:2 versions. I was upset that the Citadel one didn't include the platebody, so I used the torso to make Dragonhide armor from RuneScape. I also used his head for a new version of Robin Hood, since I think it suits the character more. Sir Jayko and Sir Danju come in second, since they could work as mounted Black Falcon and Wolfpack knights.

Hey guys.

You know, the Jellybeans aren't all that bad. Change a few colors, improve Santis's helm design. They need some tweaking, but when you observe them for a while they start to grow on you.

I think KK2:2 has the best looking jellybeans, with less of their main color. Take Santis for example, instead of full red, he has a new mustard color on his helmet, hands and hips.

I didn't vote, because they're all pretty cool. If you don't like Santis's visor, use it for a space fighter's helmet, like in Gundam Seed or something.
