Shreiking Shack?

Post by Athos »

I thought there was going to be a Shreiking Shack Set (try and say that three times fast), but I don't see it. Am I mistaken?

Well, don't usually reply to my own post, but...

Anyway, I guess the shack is what comes with the larger train set... though I don't recall the connection between the two.

The building that comes with the bigger train looks too small to be the shack. Maybe TLC didnt let us have one. That set looked good.

Hi Athos,

The old pictures of the HP sets did show set 4756 as the 'Shrieking Shack'.
Now one of three reasons:

1. Jake forgat to send the picture of it.

2. TLC decided to release that set later on this year so they still don't won't to reveal that picture.

3. TLC decided not to release that set after all (I doubt it)

In my opinion the reason is probably the 2nd one.

The Shriek Shack appears to be in the upper right of this picture from the German Toy Fair:

I'm guessing that thing in the middle is something you push down on and it makes a shrieking sound.

Your porbably right about the noise thing. But I'm elated to see the structure will stick around!

Rest assured Shack fans, alas here is another picture. It focuses on the "shreicking" box but the set can clearly be seen in the upper right corner.
