Vladek's Dark Fortress. I know I will get it because I bought it for myself along with 2 more, one for each of my children.

I will be in Lubbock, Texas for Christmas at the in-laws. The store sizes and variety will be much greater than up here in central Saskatchewan. I am hoping to pick up a Viking Fortress and a couple Fenris Wolf sets as they are on the shelf down there... Maybe a new SW set if they have them out by then. Yes, I am hoping to get money for Christmas, which I will trade in for some Lego sets :D That will make it a very merry Christmas.

What I want for Christmas

My wife knows what I want.... but she'll probably say I wasn't a good boy this year and I'll end up getting a Best Buy gift card or LegoLand gift card. :(

Or... because the amount of $ I spent on LEGO after Thanksgiving! Whew!

Pretty much finished most of are shopping. My family are all Aquarius(Jan-Feb), so birthdays are right after Christmas. I get the least amount of Lego around this time of year(checking my "lego buying and receiving habits" records) not surprising. This year my family pretty much know what each other is getting for Xmas. I do prefer the surprise gifts, but I guess not this year. :(

My List
  • 1.Imperial Glory(game for Mac, not out yet)
    2.10x Viking Wolf sets
    3.Music CD's(Tea Party,Pink Floyd and Chicane)
4.$80 spending limit at KBtoys(bought Lego clearance items/received two $10 gift cards for purchase)
5.Mystery Science Theater 3000 volume 8 (DVD Boxset)
    6.IPod
Chess sets probably ask for one or two for birthday(have three already)
I would prefer the IPod for B-day, but I overheard that their getting it for Xmas. :)
I'm spoiled.

What do I want for Christmas (other than the return of clasic grey)? Well, that's simple. Bricks! Fortunately, that's what I'm getting. $300 worth of Bricks from Bricklink.

Most sets are too pricy for my tastes. These days I only get sets if they are worthy of display.

Later.

Hmmm... its hard to say.

First I wanted a laptop for my business, now I want LEGO. My parents aren't so fond of the idea of buying 'stupid plastic,' yet I'll probably get away with buying some miscellanious weapons and armor from Bricklink and Findmybrick. Like Graynar, I would enjoy getting the viking fortress and the ship. On Toysarus.com they're selling both of them for $90, I might just go ahead an buy that instead of misc armor and weapons. Either that or the chess set for its unusual amount of weapons and figs

Usually for Xmas I get clothes, (blah) or junk. (Ugh, nothing better than to deteriorize your room) But this Xmas is going to be different

Well.... I don't really care much, just as long as I get to see Narnia.

Ah...that's better. Now to my list.

Believe it or not, I've reached a point in my life where I generally feel satisfied with my LEGO collection. Now, this doesn't mean I'll stop getting LEGO, just that I don't feel the need to keep swelling my collection with more and more sets. Actually, for Christmas, I want something that isn't LEGO, but will be incorperated into my LEGO hobby.

Hello!

Wow, you are quite young to say that. (That probably means I'm more on the "or not" side.)

What's wrong with your current camera? Or better asked: Does this Qickcam make as good pictures as your current cam? I'm generally distrustful towards cheap cameras like this, and I suspect it makes quite grainy pics. But I guess you know what you are doing. :-)

Let's see...

Vikings: Longboat and Catapult (I have the rest, minus the Fortress, which I'm getting for myself)
KK2: Vladek's Dark Fortress, the prison cave, and the battle wagon
Bionicle: Roodaka, Keetongu, the Tower of Toa, and the four Visorak I don't have.
Books: Inkspell, Eragon, and The Phantom of the Opera.

Et voilà. Mostly Lego...
What's the point of having a cake if you're not going to eat it?

Shocking, I know. Right now I feel the need for specific pieces like the turkey and black sword than for complete sets.

This Webcam actually has a very good quality. Most webcams have not very good quality, but there are a few, like this one, that actually look really good if one uses a good background and light. My current digital camera serves me well for taking still pictures, but it won't work with what I need for Brickfilming. For Brickfilming, I need a camera that can remain connected to the computer while taking pictures and can provide me with a "live feed" so I can see what I am taking a picture of on the computer screen. Most digital cameras, including my own, don't have that ability.

Here's a short LEGO movie made with the Quickcam 4000:

For me it's not christmas, but new year.
Anyway, I will treat myself to some dragon masters stuff, the bigger sets (castle and cave).

An addendum to my christmas wish list:

Brick Trees!

And alot of 'em, too. Maybe if I can get some liquid cash this Christmas...

Feel free to bathe your favorite site admins in gifts this holiday season. I accept not only trees, but anything on my wish list ;)

Those trees are amazing! And the US pricing is simply incredible. Still, I'm wondering; are those trees going to be used as trees, or for some sort of landscaping? Inquiring minds need to know.

Unfortunately, I am not wealthy enough to shower you with trees for Christmas  . Still, I wish you luck on your quest for LEGO trees! You can never have too many.

Later.
