What's on your Christmas wish list?

Post by Graynar »

Hey guys,

Christmas is coming soon, and I'm sure we are all very excited! So what's on your wish list this year? Is it LEGO? A new computer? That bike you always wanted? :D

I would like to have the Viking fortress this Christmas, I can't wait, and we still have a while to go.

So what do you guys want for Christmas?

Three of the four new Harry Potter sets (the ship really doesn't interest me).

Any of the 'creature' designer sets.

Shirts for work.

New Computer. (Christmas present for myself if things go well)

New Camera. (Dunno when that'll happen)

Graveyard Duel

Chess Set

That's about all the money I've got left in my parents' Lego budget this year. The rest I'm using for cd's I've fallen in love with.

But...but Nate! It fits your personality! ;)

As for my Xmas list, I'll take cash, gift cards to Barnes and Noble, Borders, Target and Bed Bath and Beyond (getting ready to move out), cash, more cash, an MP3 player, cash...and cash.

That about sums it up.

On-topic:

The new HP sets, especially Graveyard Duel. Vladek´s Dark Fortress, All the Viking sets...

Unfortunately my parents haven´t mastered the art of shopping through Bricklink yet....

UnLEGOwise it´ll probably be lots of music; Apocalyptica, Nightwish and Iron Maiden.... and a few books and movies... and the far too expensive katana I´ll never have :P

My list:
Viking sets
Another chess set
A new edged weapon
An assortment of books that I won't list due to time and space restraints

My condolences, sir. Get well soon.

Glad I am not the only one. :) My sister and I both collect "primitive" weapons, meaning any weapon that doesn't require an explosion to function. We usually get each other something along that line. Last year, she got me throwing stars and I got her a cheap full tang katana that she wanted to add to her hiking gear. She wanted a cheap one since it will get used and beat up.

AFOL and his money are easily parted.

My only problem is that I regard any katana cheaper than about $ 2500 as useless  Yes, I have some strange Shinto ideas about kami etc. Don´t ask ;)

But maybe I should get a cheap training katana sometime. I´m getting tired of my bokken.

But I like all kinds of "real" weapons, and with real I mean weapons that don´t need exlposions to function as you said.

I think I´m straying dangerously off-topic here. Sorry

And I forgot to add the Chess Set to my wishlist. Phew, now I´m almost on-topic at least :)

The one thing I really want is the chess set - so many scorpian knights, and I really love the blue king and queen - they are somewhat rare I think (unless you go bricklink, I know). Since I collect sets, I am even more nervous about getting this one sooner rather than later, if it's a limited edition thing (like the impressive AFOL-built blacksmith shop), it might go away never to return, making it harder to get the set without paying "top dollar".

Eventually I'll get 2 or more, but being a student in Taiwan now, I can only ask for one for Christmas, and I'll be very happy when it comes. :-)

Lots of LEGO, including anything from Harry Potter or Knights Kingdom since I have only old stuff since only recently returning from my dark ages.

Plus about 150 more things I couldn't possibly list here... here's hoping for a large Christmas! (Department 56 Halloween village pcs are high on the list, I love those things!)

Well, since my parents bought a majority of my stuff off the internet, I already know what I'm getting  . I'm getting a Viking Longboat, 3 packs of 45 degree slopes, 1 pack of 2X2 flat black tiles and 3 packs of old grey plates. Oh the joys of Christmas :D
