That isn't what it said before. So he must have remembered who built it.

AFOL and his money are easily parted.

Im not worried about anyone copying my Moc ideas, since they're usually large castles.

For smaller creations, I probably wouldn't care.

You guys are too fast for me! :D

As I said, I went ahead and sent an email to the builder. He quickly replied back and apologized, stating he could not find the link to the original when he made his post. He also said that he had gone ahead and updated his website as soon as he read my email. Sweet!

And, in case you were wondering, I guess I was a little offended by all of this, but only because the build was almost identical to mine. It is nice to know that your work is admired enough to warrant a rebuild/copy, but I do think it is right to credit someone if you use their original idea, MOC, or technique. That said, I am pleased with the result, and I guess all's well that ends well. Play On!!

Hmmm, it would appear that someone else here (judging by an avatar and signature line) is also an admirer of one of my MOCs ... I wonder who that could be??

I voted yest because although I wouldn't be really angry, it might annoy me - I would definately write to the builder and hoped that he gave me credit of some kind afterwards. Still, if he refused, I might make a note of it on my brickshelf MOC ( ), and then forget about the whole mess. Since it's LEGO, it's not worth getting stressed out about, just for forgetting stress and building, building, building.
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.

I didn't have a problem with the copying at all, and sir dillon apologized after realizing it.
