They look very great, The using of the iron in it is very usefull. The only thing negative is, that the trees require a lot green (don`t know how the are called in English) pieces.
You could really lower the leaf-piece requirement if you built the tree with a green-plate and brick core. Sure, it woudln't get rid of but maybe a a 5th or an 8th of your total, but it'd help. Plus it'd be a bit more realistic, as the closer you look to the core of a tree, the less you can see through it.

Let me amplify my statement: at the LEGO Pick-a-Brick at Downtown Disney or the Glendale Galleria in SoCal. Appearing at 2nd rate wanna-be locations like Disney World don't count.

Those trees are spectacular. LEGO could you please make a foliage pack right away? And do not add various brown trunk pieces, we just need the leaves. Thanks.
Those trees are quite impressive, very lifelike. I wonder how sturdy they are? Everything I have built with the leaf pieces has been rather unstable...

That's a good question - I hadn't considered that but they do seem like they may be a bit top-heavy...
Still, I would love to have them packed up and shipped to my house, they look great and are very realistic. I might have enough of those little green pieces to make... one.

Yeah, probably top-heavy...but very worth it. I think I am going to have to try this out later. Right now most of my leaves are tied up in a forestmen MOC I have for the contest (need to take pics tonight...).
I don't know if anybody's noticed, but many of the inner row leaves are ordinary green, while the outer foliage is bright green. It makes the shadows cast on the inner foliage look even darker! These things are awsome.
I wonder what these would look like on a smaller scale?
