Lego "Create a Knight" Drawing Contest

Post by R_The_Falcon »

In the January edition of Lego Magazine, they have proposed a contest that tells the contestants to draw a lego knight. The reward is a choice of any Lego set worth $100. :) Apparently, Lego has ran out of ideas, or want to see what type of knight people want. I just hope the contestants come out with some good knights. Well, okay, I couldn't resist. I have to enter the contest. So, my problem is that the rules require an animal as a symbol. I'm going to rule out a lion symbol, because it's already over used. I can't do a dragon or horse because it's already in the new line on some warrior. The only other animals I can think of is a stag or an elephant. Do you guys have any ideas? Also, they want a color scheme for the knight. I'm thinking a pink knight, from the bright pink kingdom. Just Kidding! :P

For complete rules you can go here:

Sounds like an interesting contest. What about a boar? That's quite a medieval animal (and it would be perfect for a pink knight).

Yes I saw this as well. It looks interesting. Maybe one of our members, like Graynar, could enter and post if they win? I think it would be neat to show of CC's supremeness. :)

So long as they except perfectly organic symmetrical designs and not scribbles, the TFOL/AFOL community have this in the bag. For CC!

I like the sounds of this contest... despite my terrible artistic skills, I believe I shall give it a shot.

My guess is they'll probably pick a childish looking drawing to model their next Castle theme on....

Oh wait.... isn't that what the Jellybean knights are? LOL!

Oh, really interesting! I would say a alligator could be cool, but that would be likely a 'Power Ranger' Knight...

Meh.... US only....

I think a raven or owl could be cool. Or a new style of dragon, as in Fry_Slayer´s three-headed one...

I don't think it's USA only.
One (1) entry per person. Contest is open to all LEGO Magazine and LEGO BrickMaster subscribers in Canada and the United States of America.
I think it's just for the dedicated members of the LEGO Cult in North America. 8)
