Copper helmet!?!?

Post by wunztwice »

Am I mistaken or is that a copper helmet I spy in this pic?

Some of the new colored minifig pieces/accessories will be great. (not to mention generic knights again!) I hope they aren't something that will disapear before the sets are released.

I would agree, the new colours look fantastic. I also like the design of this helmet (which looks like a flat silver colour).

I hope that it will appear in other colours.

It does look copper colored to me. Seems like one of the megafig rogue knights had copper highlights. I'm too lazy to look it up right now though...

I especially like the look of these guys

They have cool euro-armour, speckled copper helmets and I think the middle one has speckled copper armour too.

There is no KK3.

KK (or KK1) is the original Knight's Kingdom line, with King Leo, Princess Storm, etc.

KK2 is the first run of Knight's Kingdom 2, with the original rainbow knights, etc.

KK2:2 is the second run of Knight's Kingdom 2, with all the Vladek-themed sets.

KK2:3 is the thrid run of Knight's Kingdom 2, this current line of sets that haven't been released yet.

Note: Knight's Kingdom 2 is a fan-created label. The LEGO Company simply calls all of the Knight's Kingdom 2 line "Knight's Kingdom." Fans added the 2 to be more clear.

Maybe change is good. I really like how the minfigs in this new run are turning out. Those Rogue Knights are a good example of how you can blend dark colours with bright colours. The designs on the euro armour is also a nice touch. I really need to invest in those shields. I've spent months trying to make a decal with a snake like that.

I guess I'm going to have to cut food out of my budget this year.

The soldiers for KK2:3 look really cool this year. Hopefully TLG will keep the copper helmets the color they are  Also, the Euro armors are looking really nice and generic.

FINALLY! Generic soldiers!

Now if they could just sell sets with like 2 of each Knight's soldiers.... That would PWN.

I've been looking at the pics again and I think I like the copper pieces better than the speckled look. I am really wanting these!

I think copper would be cool as a Shadow knight helm. But did you ever think maybe the camera flashed on the helmet giving the illusion of copper coloring?

Doubt so. The macrofig (which I own) has the copper color, and all the pics show copper.
However, my big fig is speckled copper, so I think we will get speckled copper.
