Hello there....
Now It's my turn.....
I will share with you some pictures of the spanish castles... There are more than 5000 castles in Spain, so I can't post here all of them
but I will post some cool pictures I borrow from somewhere (all these pictures are copyright of their authors, not me).
I would like to "organize" the tons and tons of information of spanish castles, but I will need more time to do this....
I will post on brickshelf pictures of castles, organized by location, epoque or style.....
While I found this time enjoy these.....
Alcázar (Segovia)
Aljafería (Zaragoza)
Cuéllar (Segovia)
Javier (Navarra)
Loarre (Huesca)
Olite (Navarra)
Castillo del Temple (León)
Vélez Blanco (Almería)
for some other visit

Very cool. Thanks, Juan, for sharing these. I esepecially like the Aljaferia one. It seems sort of Arabic to me (something about the shape of the arches). Does this actually date to times where there was a Moorish influence?
The Velez Blanco is also very cool. The long vertical lines are very striking. It almost looks like something designed by Takeshi Itou:

Wow!
Nice pics. Thanks Juan.
I like the Velez Blanco. How did they manage to built such a tall castle on a high ground?

Nice! My favorite is Olite (Navarra). It looks like it is from the later middle ages, which is my favorite period!

These castles look fantastic. My favourite is Alcázar. But they look good. Thanks for sharing these images.

Wow... I like those castles, if I had the pieces I would try to make at least one of them.

Very nice compilation here. There are some very cool architectural elements in these. I'll have to try to incorporate some in my MOCs!

I think they used the land well when they built them.using different ups and downs for defense. And they also made very good walls. Thanks for showing us this.

I think the "Newbie of the Month" moniker has gone to your head. Jcrasterman hasn't posted in something like three and a half years!
Of course, they are very nice and inspiring as well.
