Hmm, I'd probably by tiles, 1 x 2 in light bley or blue. You can never have enough tiles. :)

Currently almost entirely devoid of castle. Soon to remedied, it is hoped!

Only $50? Aww...

But yeah... I'd probably spend all that on shields, torsos, and helmets, most likely Black Falcon and Black Monarch Knights. Oh, and the Dragon plume things the Dragon Masters have. Especially white ones.

I'd get as many dark grey bricks and old light grey bricks as I could. I don't really need anything else right now, other than a whole lot of large bricks (8x10 and bigger).

Light Grey 2X4s. Lots of them. That is IMO the most usefull piece when build castles. Plus, I have only a few.

I build, therefore I am.

Swords. In bulk. I don't know what you mean by 2 lots, but if it means I can buy two different things, each up to 50$ or together being $50, i would by swords and horses. I'm young, so I was to dumb to realize the value of medieval horses when they appeared more often in the sets that where around when I was 6. :(
I ow it to wunztwice for directing me here.

If I had $50 to spend, I'd pick up another one of these:

I would buy minifig parts. (duh)

What else do I collect?

As for bricks, I much rather buy them over Pick-a-Brick.
