Good Grief!!

I think I've saved the best for last.
*Sigh* ... Again, when moderated... (But, there's more to see!) :)

It dosen't look much like Lucy to me. Lucy wears a plain shirt, so perhaps just have a blank dark blue torso.

Lucy's shirt is a bit too bright for me, but it doesn't detract from the vig. Snoopy and Woodstock are a riot, though! How did you attach the Viking horn? I'm guessing it was put in the top leg hole, or it isn't attached at all and the piece that's really holding it up is cleverly hidden by the camera angle. Which is it? :)

I like it. I have read a lot of Peanuts gang, because my mom loves it, so I know where this is coming from, but I agree with Danju The Clever, Lucy wheres a plain shirt.

This is great, and Good Grief there are a lot of vigs today. Snoopy looks really good, and that font looks really, well, Peanut-y. Charles Schultz actually lived in this town (see my location).

I think it's put in the top leg hole... and held in place between the leg and the hip piece. You notice you only see it when the leg is bent.

That is one creative Snoopy. Good choice of face of Lucy.

As always, good work.

Wow, that's an amazing Snoopy! It's an instantly recognizable scene, with all the right details (with and without the Photoshopped sign).

I like it, but my first reaction was that Snoopy's a little big. However, you've made him look good enough that it might not matter.

I enjoy Peanuts, and this is a pretty good representation of a pretty well-known/used scene. The added words do make it look very close to perfect--don't you love editing software?

When I saw your little thumbnail picture, I didn't think you'd be able to pull off the Lucy with LEGO, but I actually thought you did it quite well - that has to be the only face you could use (with that hair, too) to make a Lucy-looking LEGO fig - and it's great. I also liked how you had the custom legs, socks, skirt, etc when you could have just used fig legs.

I also thought Snoopy was a bit "larger than life" but it's also quite a nice bit of building. Like Enigma, I was impressed by that tail and the ears.

Thanks, all!

Making a minifig Snoopy was a challange. Originally, I just had Lucy in her booth, but that looked too plain. I think it came out quite well. Also, I went with that torso for Lucy for the same reason; a solid one looked kinda plain. Lucy's dress actually has a collar, a small button-design, and short sleeves. Good grief!

smcginnis is right - Snoopy's tail is in the top leg hole.

I found the "Peanuts" font on the 'Net Good stuff! :D
