Brickfest galleries
Hey all,
Galleries are just starting to appear from the early hours of Brickfest.
William Ward
Arryll
Fazoom
When you see another gallery, either on Brickshelf, Flickr, or some other site, add it to this thread. (BTW, those are the names of the gallery owners, not necessarily the builders of those individual MOCs.)

Edit:I am no longer feeling depressed(but it still hasn't left us precious, no, no of course not); but I have to say this, every time I hear Brickfest 2006, I feel a sharp stab of envy.

I agree... that cliff is spectacular. I also liked the scene with "Hungry Hippo" game (grew up on that one). There were some other cool landscaping examples - a floating rock I believe that used the cydrical tube bricks, and the human bodies were amazing... hmm... So many nice creations... it can only mean it's that time of year again - so much amazing stuff to see, but too much to comment on everything.

There was a really nice dragon there in Ward´s gallery. Does anyone know anything about it? I couldn´t tell too much from the pics. But it was a dragon, it was red and black, and it was fairly big, of course I have to like it

That dragon was titled "Big Dragon" and I've got some close-ups I'll be uploading in a few days.Maedhros wrote:There was a really nice dragon there in Ward´s gallery. Hey Bruce,
Thanks for pointing these out. I have been horribly caught up in real life and have been neglecting the Lego world, so it was nice to immerse myself in these galleries for a while. Looks like another great Brickfest!

Wow... I was wondering how long it would be before I saw a dragon comparable with Anthony's, and this one certainly is... those wings are great - they are all-LEGO built?
The head/jaws are good too... really looks like a vicious worm~

Only Bryce could ever make such a beast. I recognized it as one of Bryce' creations before anyone said anything, one for the building techniques, and then again since so few people own so many ewok wing pieces.architect wrote:Yes, everything was completely LEGO. It was an interesting mix of system, bionicle, and plastic wings/capes.

My dragons pale in comparison (and size!). But then again I'm biased, I'm a huge fan of Bryce work.

There is some really great stuff here, I hope I might make it to Brickfest someday.

That's funny.... I was going to post saying it looked McGlonish, but I checked his site and LUGNET, and couldn't find anything, so I didn't. The tail is a little thick, though.architect wrote:The builder of this creative dragon is Bryce McGlone. A place in the Country (aka the cliff castle with water and sunken ships) was built by Steve DeCraemer.
