Idea: Have you noticed all of the knights are named after their providence?
For instance, DANju, AlenDAN.
Why don't you try something with Mathias for the capital? Granted, that does not work with the other members of the royal family of Morica, but give it a try. Something like, I don't know, Darimathi.

No need to apology I think, I just think that the point everyone has to understand is that we create the world by writing it NOT planning it in this thread... (haven“t I said this before..?

)
And if you want a more pronouncable version of Llewgwlad you could spell it L(l)eugulad since w is pronounced like u in Welsh...

Isn't that a bit unpronounceable? Along with 'Llewgwlad', I don't want to end up with a whole load of names from foreign languages that people can't say. I appreciate you're trying to be different than the usual fantasy names, but sometimes using some typical, boring, average fantasy blahblahagar is easiest.
Also, look at the four KK2 names already in use - Talonjay, Orkosan,Banteras and Alendan. Does Lafdstad really sound with them?
...
How about certain KK2 sub-factions (Banteras, Alendan, etc.) have allegiances with similar faction. Example: Alendan*Wolfpack, Banteras*Forestmen, Talonjay*Black Falcons.
Their allegiance is to the king of Morcia. But you could make some interesting backstory and plots out of that...
Yah, you're right about the names. I kind of gave up trying to find a pronunciation for "Llewgwlad". Boring name it is then.
Of course their allegiance is primarily to the king, but I mean similar culture, bloodlines, location, and friendliness and truces.

Of course I noticed that.

But Jayko is King now, so that wouldn't work. BTW, who is the Governor of Talonjay now that Jayko is King?

Thanks a lot, that helps.
As to money, pitchforks as currency does not work, as peasants use them to work, and peasants are some of the poorer people (besides slaves) in Medieval life. I think gold coins is a good unit. Maybe lesser valued metal coins as change?

Is it just me, or does the RPG seem to be dying out?
Because if it is, that is really depressing.

Sorry about this, I've been very busy. Got three exams in the next month. However, I'll try to post something.
Anyhow, last time I looked Morcia was being invaded by Shadow Knights, so we should have some good material.

I wouldn't say it's dying. Just that people are busy with other things.
As for me, school started back up this week , plus I have been doing some building/ customizing, and now I see this Castle Contest which I know I'll be building for

.
I'd love to post more often, but there are so many other things I like to do in my spare time.

I'm still in, I love this RP since I missed out on the first one, but I, too, am busy lately. I will try to post when I have time, but NO, the RP will not die.

I don't think that fits with the sets - Black Monarch's Castle, for instance, where everyone was male? I think a matriachal dynasty would be better with the Dark Forest, Fright Knights or another more 'gender-neutral' faction.
Okay, sorry to bring this up again, but did we ever actually
see the Black Monarch, except for it's ghost? I mean, I know LEGO almost certainly intended for the BM to be male, but it
could be female. I'm thinking of the Black Knights as the sort of "High Nobility" faction in this game, sort of like the Classics were in the old CCRP.
If a matriarchal dynasty is just undoable (and looking back, perhaps it wasn't that good of an idea), how about a dynasty where the oldest child rules? Or maybe one where the oldest son rules, and if there are no sons, the oldest daughter? Either way, I'd like for the current ruler of the Black Knights to be female.
And alright... I'm changing "Llewgwlad" to "Lewgalad", 'cause it's much easier to pronounce... and that second 'w' needs to be an 'a'.

Edit: Also, this is a question for mainly Lamanda, or anyone else who RP's Black Falcons: Is Falconia only the capital city of the BF's lands, or is it the name of those lands as well? Right now I'm using it as such, but I'll change it if anyone has a better name.

I planned on Falconia being the capital of the Black Falcon lands, but if anyone wants it to be the Black Falcon lands instead of the capita;- I'm cool with that. (Psst.. I'm the one who named Falconia

Okay. I'll use Falconia for now as both the capitol and the country. Hopefully someone can come up with separate names soon.
New Character:
Name: Queen Accalia Phaedra Archos-Gloria
Age: 38
Information: Born the first child of King Augustus, she was not, however, expected to become queen. When she was two years old, her brother, who would become the king, was born. Accalia was raised mainly in her fathers' seaside castle of Telamont, above the town of the same name. When she was twelve, her brother drowned in a shipwreck on the shoals of one of the larger islands in the Black Knight Isles, and she began her schooling as a monarch immediately after, with no time to grieve.
Faction: Black Knights
(Obviously)
Place in Hierarchy: Queen
(Again, obviously)
Equipment: Uh, scepter? Crown?
Other: Although she is in truth a very kind person and a good ruler, she has acquired a somewhat bad reputation on the mainland, through no fault of her own. She is worried that her own people are losing faith in her as an upholder of the faction's honor, but she needn't be. Despite the troubles that have come about during her reign, her people still believe in her.
Looks: New Castle Princess with a Blacksmith's wife head and a dark blue cape.
~smcginnis
EDIT: I'm retconning this character. New backstory: She
was going to be queen from birth; but when asked at age ten if she still wished it, she declined. The loss of her brother, however, made it necessary for her to become the heir to the monarchy again. This retcon is in keeping with the newer, more egalitarian society of the Black Knights.

I'd use copper coins. Gold was hard to come by in those days, and was usually only used by royalty and other high-ranking officials.

Ok, a little confused here.
Are the Black Knights the same Faction as the Dragon Knights

It depends on what you mean by Dragon Knights, as no theme was called that (at least in the USA).
The Black Knights were these sets:
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/?qc=lego/sy ... ackknights
And the Dragon Masters were these:
http://guide.lugnet.com/set/?qc=lego/sy ... gonmasters
Since the Dragon Masters had the same shield printing as the Black Knights, but re-colored, some people get them confused. However, in this roleplay at least, they are two distinct factions.
~smcginnis
Edit: I just found out that Brickset and Bricklink call them Dragon Knights, but LUGNET, CC, and Peeron call them Dragon Masters.

Maybe the Dragon Masters are a faction that was originally part of the Black Knights, and something happened and they seperated, like a view on slaves (US Civil War comes to mind) or the Dragon Masters were nobility that were exiled like the French Revolution.

That might work. I'd have the Black Knights be those that opposed slavery if that was the case. I don't think we should do too much more storyline in this thread, though.
Anyway, the real reason I was posting was to say that the Black Falcon King is named Peregrine, and the Prince that someone (Amanda, I think) mentioned is named Tiercel. Also, there is a port somewhere in the Falcon lands called Saker Port.
I don't want to register those two characters, but if anyone does, here're just a few bits of bio. King Peregrine is a tall, well built man, with dark hair and beard that are starting to grey, and a brooding personality. Prince Tiercel is also tall, but wiry, with a tendency towards rashness.
