Count Blacktron wrote:I have the KK1 King Leo picture frame set and this one is certainly superior as a LEGO set. You can build independently with it, but on the downside it appears that the picture is only a insert into the background. With the King Leo picture frame you built directly on the frame as it was a cut-out baseplate.

I agree with you Count Blacktron but I do like the other KK1 picture frame, I have found it very difficult to purchase a copy of this MISB:

Jojo has listed the subject frame on Bricklink, I wonder if the frame will be general release or Legoland/SAH exclusive?

I've never seen the one you listed before, mine is different completely. This is a surprise to me from KK1. Thank you for the enlightenment.

This may sound odd, but I think that the new frame has good minifigs and could be a potential army builder. It looks like it has mostly basic pieces, except for the treasure chest.

Army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, army builder, everything’s an army builder. That’s probably the most frequently used word in these forums.
It looks like it has mostly basic pieces, except for the treasure chest.
So it’s a castle builder, isn’t it?

Why is it an army builder? € 5,- for a minifig isn't that cheap. You can better buy an impulse set (€ 3,- each) or the Crossbow Attack (also € 2,- each).

Or am I missing something

I bought one at Legoland in Germany. I think they're only sold at the Legolands.
