I actually bought three of these and removed the tiles from two, so that I had a pure white board and a pure black board. It took about thirty minutes of double teaming the tiles with a fork and screwdriver to rip them out. It's not as easy as I would like.

That must have scratched and dented them to hells and back!

You better believe it. One wound up more cracked than the other, but the tiles do a nice job to cover the dents up.

Just ordered 4. Hey, gotta take advantage of 'em while they're there, plus I didnt want to pay $25 shipping for one, so paid $35 for 4. I dont think i'll try taking apart the boards, I guess they go for $5 on eBay??

I just maid an order for the casle chess set now when it's on sale. http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=852001 . just wanted to ask you guys if it's worth the money? What in the set is glued? i also ordered some armour (60 pieses) for my minifiggs now i have two looong weeks to wait for my order!

btw, sirJakob is my brother in law, and the one who got me out of the dark age...

He didn't just order one set, but two, and gave one to me;
Yesterday he came over to show the set (i thought), but when i opened the lid of the box, there was a note that said:
