outstanding! O.O The detail and architecture render me speechless...no joke. I have been inspired to build again thanks to you. I love the idea of building a church/ cathedral into a fortress. Any chance of getting more detail oriented photos?

The architectural details on this are sublime and the colour mixing is great. I love it! :mrgreen:

wow! I am once again amazed by your architecture. This really looks like one of those gothic cathedrals. And af course, the angle work on your MOC's has become your signature. You always manage perfectly.
Great job AC... not by the book at all, and that's why I like it.

I overlooked this, but I was wondering if your using both bley/grey in your MOCs? I can definitely see both dark bley/grey bricks, but I was wondering if you were using bley & grey together because the mottling looks fantastic. Most bley/grey combinations don't turn out so well, but this looks pretty stellar!

Yep, they're mixed. I always do that, because most importantly I can build twice as big if I use both grays ;) but I also think it gives a great stone wall look, in a real stone wall not all the stones are the same colour either. Especially if you mix old and new gray with a few other colours here and there, like the old and new dark grays, tan, etc.

Wow.
We don't see many great tan castles, and it's even better on a rock! :roflol: (seriously, I love castles on tall rocks)
I only wish the interior of the church was a bit more detailed. Other than that, rock(sticking out of the water) on! :D
Do the houses have interiors? If so,that's even more rockin' :lol: more rock humor :D

Dude! :) Amazing work man! It really looks awesome. Your lego collection seems to grow fast, you're creations get bigger and bigger. But you manage to keep the level of detail in your mocs very high! And as others said before awesome angel work!

Some great stuff here, AC! I love the crazy angles and stuff like that. Not too much of a fan of mottling in castles, but you did it tastefully enough that it looks fine. The tan part is amazing.

Great job overall. As Josh said, this is your best castle so far. Looking forward to seeing your next one!

This looks really good. My favorite part is the lake. It is done very nicely. And I love the color you put into this MOC. It is awesome altogether.
