I am happy to say that I got the Imperial Flagship for Christmas. That was the only Lego I got not counting the Prison Carriage Rescue I found a couple days later at a Barnes and Noble. Who knew they sold Lego? All in all a good haul!

I also got a nifty wireless set of headphones so I can listen to my evil, political radio shows at work without bothering my co-workers (our building is shielded so I only get a radio signal at the window).

The other half of my Lego room is crowded with radios. I listen to the same stuff... I think...

My hubby got me The Lego Book that Highwayman got, as well as Lego: A Love Story (by Jonathan Bender). That is a great little book that somewhat mirrors my own journey out of the dark ages. I bought myself the Battle of Alamut (half price at WalMart)and the Orient Bazaar game. I love the pieces to that game, but haven't quite managed to play the game yet- the instructions are awful.
My son got Emperor Palpatines Shuttle, Slave I, Stormtrooper battle pack, the Toy Story green army men, Lego Pajamas, and a few bagged impulse sets.

We got our last Brickmaster set yesterday in the mail. :( Mini Slave...

I personally didn't get any Lego this year, but I got a haul in other stuff. I did pick up a bunch of series 3 mini-figs, the White House architecture model and the winter bakery for myself.

My nephews on the other hand scored when they told my mother that they wanted Cowboy & Indian Legos. She spent a few hundred buying almost every set from the Western theme. I played Santa's Elf and put it all together for them on a table by the tree. Heck I did try unsuccessfully to "misplace" the Rapid River Village to my car for display on desk at work(I needed something to replace my winter scene with).

Of course, there are a number of small things over the past few months, in preparing OTHERS Christmas presents that I could think of as my presents to myself... a trip to the LEGO Store, extra pieces in Bricklink orders... all the same, it's a strange, different year indeed.
Well, I got back east... and this did not become the first Christmas I got no LEGO.

From my girlfriend I got:
8403 City House
8084 Snowtrooper Battle Pack
7566 Farmer
7953 Jester
7955 Wizard
as well as a copy of "LEGO: A Love Story."

From her grandma, I got:
3182 Airport

On top of that, as a result of Amazon randomly shipping her mom a LEGO set no one ordered (which they said "keep it" when she asked what to do with it), I also now own 8014 Clone Walker Battle Pack.

So, rather than being the "Christmas I got no LEGO" this became "one of the better Christmas LEGO hauls in the last half-decade." Not that I didn't suspect this before, but she seems to be a keeper. :D

I got a 2nd copy of 7571 The Fight for the Dagger (PoP) and another copy of 7950 Knight's Showdown from my wife.

I got 21003 Seattle Space Needle from my father in law.

I also did both the city and castle advent calendars this year.

We added the bakery/sweets shop to the Christmas display this year.

A couple other December purchases not quite presents were 8078 Portal of Atlantis and 7947 Prison Tower Rescue bought during the holiday sales.

I will not count the 'deals' I got myself over the holiday season, I'd have got them regardless of the time of year, it's a function of price/funds availability.

For gifts I got a 5761 Mini Digger, a 8083 Rebel Trooper Battlepack, a 7950 Knight's Showdown, a 7946 Kings Castle and a a LEGO Castle Brickmaster book.

Not a bad year at all :)
Build? I merely Acquire atm.
