Interesting addition, stuff to happen... I wonder, where are the Blackfalcons when you need them?
My story is getting forgotten though (the thread beneath).

Yep, I'm setting up the final 6th chapter scenario. I wonder why you mention the black falcons? Did you pick something up from the reading? Well, anyway, glad you liked it.
I actually read yours last night - but with a modem line. As a result, I was too tired to comment by the time I was done! hmm

Great story! The only thing that could be better would be more pics of the action scenes, since many things were described but never seen, but its still a great story.

Nice pictures. Not so fond of the clone brand though. But oh well.
I haven't got around to reading it, but I will.

I was wondering about this actually...
I think the problem comes from the fact that the story is sooo long... it's gets tiresome to snap all those pics. Chapter 6 alone has 40+.
Still, I do agree with you Hordesman. That's actually one of the things I like about your story and Athos' tale... every page is a pic!
I know a lot of people don't like the clones, they should try building with them!! I can't stand working with the cheap bricks that fall to pieces at the drop of the hat. But I wanted the Dondels to really look like a foreign invader, a really different race of people than the LEGO people. The clone brand looks different in every aspect, including their castles... it was perfect.
EDIT >>> WOW... Post #800!! How did that happen?! "Man-at-Arms" baby!!

I've gone ahead and published chapter 1 of my second "book" to my story. It's the first chapter under book two, of the "Ancient Tombs of Chiron". The book is called "Fire on the Mountain".
Not much action, but since it's chapter one, I figured that's ok... action is for the climax!
Special thanks go to Bruce and his foliage help.

And chapter 2 of the "Ancient Tomes of Chiron" has now reared it's "ugly head" - I must say, this is fun... but I forgot how much work it was!

Finally... after months of checking the mainsite I have read it!
Really nice I must say, not at all too heavy and the use of the clones is excellent. Dondels=evil, clones=evil... makes sense, doesn´t it?
I was indeed happy to see a textheavy story out there. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the feedback guys - it's good to see people are enjoying it, although I must say I'm having a lot of fun as well in making it.
Chapter 3 is in the works, but a bit longer than the other two... I'm chipping away, chipping away at it between study breaks.

I've gone ahead and popped out two more chapters for my book 2 in the Ancient Tombs of Chiron.

As usual, they are a bit text-heavy, but overall I'm happy with the work. I am trying to quicken the pace so I can move on to book three by the end of February.
Here are some direct links:
Chapter Three
Chapter Four
Off I go on Chapter 5 now...
EDIT>> Oh, of course I'd be interested to hear of any comments/complaints/suggestions for a better chapter in the future that anyone might have.

Just as I was editing all my images and preparing to publish the final two chapters of my story, the worst catastrophe yet to hit Legelot struck... my back-up hard drive crashed!!
The thing that makes this bad is not only that I lost the writing I did for the last two chapters, but that I lost all the photos I had taken for book three of ATC and the Black Scroll of Ragnok (the next story I was going to tell)!!!
There was easily over 100 pics there... and all the models (some MOCs) had been taken apart.
After stringing together a tapestry of cursings never before heard from my mouth, I stopped and took a good look at what I had created so far... the ATC as it stands online now is good, but at what price? I started this story well over a year ago (it took a long time to publish that first chapter or two), and it is to be nothing more than a "prequel" of my LEGO Castle History... yet it's still not done? I have a storyline full of characters and plot twists that goes all the way to KK2:2 and beyond, but I'm not even at the Black Knight's Castle! This is no good.
So I've decided upon some changes. The stories will be shorter, the pics fewer. I'm going to try this approach in the interest of starting and actually completing my epics in a timely fashion... I'm not sure how it will go over, but I want to give it a shot... it's very annoying to lose all that work (I admit I should have backed it up) and have little to show for it all in the end.
Just thought I would tell you all of my (admitedly long) idea...
