A customizer, once you cut something up you can never go back.

I am a customizer! I love using special tools to further the greater cause of Lego weapons. I know some people who think it is a crime to customize a Lego piece. My best custom so far has been a regular Lego bow that I cut the strings and arrow off of. It now looks better than before.

Hmm... Tough :? . I use stickers (Thank You Anthony Sava!) and have made my own capes. I once painted a head so it had red hair, but I have tried to sand it off(the guy's name is now Scratch). I, however, have never ever cut a piece on purpose. I would say I'm somewhere in between.

This poll is going to be very skewed towards the customizer as it is posted in the customs forum. I can only speak for myself, but as a purist I rarely frequent this forum. This may be true of many of the purists out there. Perhaps this poll would be more appropriate in another forum (I think its already been done though). As it stands, you probably aren't getting a representative sampling of CC members.

Later.

I would have to say I am a customizer even though I think there are certain pieces that should NEVER be cut or customized in any way[such as classic castle pieces and torsos] and even then if you have a lot of that piece I would probly do it anyway. :)

but I also enjoy the challenge of finding a part that will work, as opposed to just making it.
Isnt that was Lego is all about?. I couldnt agree more with that statement. I have nothing against customizing once however, but at the same time in my perspective its kinda like cheating. Anyways I remember when I was younger I spray painted a bunch of my white bricks to the colour grey...Biggest mistake of my life  . Ever since that day I havent modified any of my lego. Also when I sorted all my lego I threw out everything that was either broken or not lego. 100% purist :D

Customizer. Though I only have one fully customized figure, I have so many capes, painted helms, and customized weapons that I can hardly call myself "in-between."

I still don't like cutting up LEGO pieces; I just bought a bunch of styrene so I don't have to slice bricks anymore. I also love Little Armory.
