Horses!
Have you seen that in the first series there were only two.
Much better.
Oh, and triangular shields, more shadow knights( thats good, I only have two).
To summer is a loooooooooooong time, and in Portugal it might just come next year, on Autumn.
Gotta love the prison cart.

You know you're a good person when you see megablocks and have to do things you would rather not.

Just think of the two towers smashing each other to pieces':D'
Or maybe it it so that hey can besiege each others castle when the other one is out besigeing your castle.
Naa, i think it's just to let the good guys have a foot inthis years line, it only has the evil ones, right?
I think another apporach might have been better to fill this function i n the 2005 KKII:2, but if this is the best they could do...

I'm back, and so is Castle!
Well they need it to Seige Vladrek. I'm sure they could've killed the crew of the evil one and used that against Vladrek, but they wanted to be special. So they made their own hehe.
I love all the improvements and can't wait to see more about that chrome armor. I'll definately get Vladrek's Fortress. As for the others... well the prisoner thing doesn't look too bad, and I want that green horse helm... oh heck I'll get more than I think.

I don't pay much attention for Christmas week and all he!! break's loose.
Better? On some levels, but it's still Power Rangers Meets Castles, so my vote was for "Same". It's a logical extension of what was presented before. On the level that LEGO has descended to, it's better, but my interest is more on the individual parts level than most of the sets as a whole.
More horses. That's good. No gray or brown horses, that's bad. No bardings, that's bad. Multiple color chamfron's, that's good. Chrome euro armor, that's good (assuming that it is, and it looks like chrome shadow knight's helmets, but you can damage your eyes trying to tell). No minifig pack, that's bad. Funky seige weapons - I suppose that's a function of taste (bad
).
The Castle seems to have more potential and some interesting parts - seems to be a big improvement in any event. The small set has my least favorite knight and a larger catapult and no barding - hmmmm, and that isn't a lance holding the pennant, but an "umbrella stand". 8876 is simply a mish mosh that has a bunch of interesting bits and pieces. 8874, mostly all I can give it is a shrug, but I'll note that it is better than that awful joust set at least. The siege tower does nothing for me at all.
Lots of parts that I'll want - I think I'll be spending more money on bricklink than the actual sets directly. However, after not buying either of the last two large castles (KKI or KKII - not even on sale) I might actually buy this one.

Man I love these sets! New catapults...more Shadow Knights...another siege tower...
NEWS FLASH: Apparently, the chrome Shadow Knights are really Elite Shadow Knights. Also, the silver helmet on the Dark Fortress is Vladek's power source. And last of all, at the end of the story, Mathias hands his crown over to Jayko, and Jayko becomes the new King.

That all sounds very logic to me, I can't wait to get my hands on those chrome guys!NEWS FLASH: Apparently, the chrome Shadow Knights are really Elite Shadow Knights, according to Lego. Also, the silver helmet on the Dark Fortress is Vladek's power source.

Just my opinion on the story behind what were referred to as "Power rangers meets castle" heh...
Frankly I don't care about the story behind the KK2, I have, just as many of us have, been playing, building and creating lego without being told that this and that happens to those characters. Actually I think these are the first castle minifigs that has a story behind them. I find it wrong that tlc is trying to tell the kids what and how to play with the fígs. That leads to my point... Just wanted to post my opinion on how "much" the story behind the KK2 means to me... Wow... I sound really negative about this right? Sorry for that, but that's the only way I can explain myself.
Stop creating pre-made stories for lego, cause that's part of playing with it... making stories... let the kids do that themselves...

Now I hate Vladek...he is a weakling who draws his power from a chrome mega figure helmet...who will be my idol now? Ogel?SKM from BZPower wrote:Man I love these sets! New catapults...more Shadow Knights...another siege tower...
