"Old Wizards never die, nor fade away. They just kind of operate behind the scenes and in the shadows... doing all of their weird and wonderful Wizardy things and whatnot."
Another excellent MOC. It looks like a souped up version of one of the all time greats, Black Monarch's Castle. A definite contender.

The castle alone is excelent, holding a very accurate black knights feel. It looks like the type of castle lego might actually have made in the golden age. The undead giant is a neet touch. All of this is realy good, I'm sure you will place very well.

IloveitIloveitIloveitIloveitIloveit. Heh. Sorry about that.
This is beautiful. I'm actually kind of glad that there are only three pictures, or it would take me much longer to review this.
Starting with the ship, I really like it. The colors and the build are great, and I love the torn sail. My only complaint with the entire scene is that the sails look too clean to be so ruined. Are those large black boats rare? Knowing you, they probably are.
Both of the cliffs are great. The sand green 1x1s work really well as whatever plant they're supposed to be. The skellie's ballista is great looking, and I'm awed by the giant. You certainly put that skull-face thingie to great use here. A bit more bones showing might be nice though.
And now we come to the castle itself. I think you've used the perfect amount of grey to compliment the printing on the wall pieces, and the build looks solid and strong. I usually like overhanging battlement, but the towers look great without them. The giant's mace breaking the tower wall is a great effect; although maybe he could be put in a bit more of an action-y position.
So maybe there was more than one complaint. It's still just as awesome though. I love how you managed to make the limited (as per contest rules) forces work for this scene.

Learning French.
Say it "ESS-MICK-GIN-ISS", with a hard "G", as in "get".

Right up there with the rest of your entries, and they all definately stand as pantheons of great building, very stiff competition!
I love the overal "set" feeling to it. The landscaping is nice, those sand greet plates add a swank flair to it all! The ship is awsome, and the fig posing is great. I could go on about all your detial, but I'll let someone else pick up...

Wow, nice job. The castle is a great one, and the ship is, dare I say it, quite 1337 with that tattered sail. The bone ballista and bone giant are fantastic, the use of what I would usually consider a lame-o juniorized piece for the giant's face is actually quite good looking, I guess it just needed a well-structured... structure behind/under it. Fantastic job!
...and that's how Equestria was made!

I prefer gigant "skeleton man" He looks like a toothless, old, bald man. Great Job :!:

Very Legoish, and great for the scale, some how I feel this as lost a bit of the charm of the original BMC but that could just be the skeletons ; )
Good work all round!
God Bless,

That castle looks suspiciously like the Black Monarch's Castle... I really like the ghost peaking out from the back tower, I wonder who's side he's on...
I really like the combination of sand green and BURPS. Makes it look very mossy.
The skeleton giant's legs look a little spindley, which I think is due to the very large leg greaves. His hands are also a little out of proporition, but still look great and I'm not sure how you could slim them down, without losing detail. I'm definately going to have to steal that design though.

Too bad that the 1X2X2&2/3rds window didn't exist when they made the original Black Monarch's Castle. They would've looked great in it, as do yours. I like how you put 1 plate layer of verdigris on all of the dark gray rock studs.

Awesome moc!
I like the look of your castle, reminds me of the black monarch's castle, but yours looks better.
The ship with the torn sail is excellent and goes well with the skeleton army theme. I love that giant too!
Excellent work as usual.
