custom minifig scale monster...hobgoblin
Here is a picture of a monster I have been working on for a while. The monster is my own variation of goblin, and it is not meant to resemble the goblins from the LOTR movies.
here is the picture...
thank you, and please tell me what you think.

This looks great! I love the feel you get from this guy. My only suggestion is to eventually try and work out some sort of brick-built body too. Not that this isn't good, because it most certainly is!!! (oh, and it really does bear a stark resemblance to those old cartoon goblins!)

"Down down to Goblintown".....yeah, very reminiscent of the Hobbit cartoon. I love the choice for the eyes. It looks great as is, but a brick built body would rock. I like the weapon as well.

Great Goblin; "Aaarrgghh! Murderers! Elf friends!"
I would like to see it from the back too. Like Chris, I'd like to look into making a brick built version, with an eye towards possibly mass producing them at some point. I like the design more every time I see it.

here is the back view that was requested...
---I first built the goblin in brown instead of gray, and used bricks as part of the body as well... you can find links to that earlier goblin moc here...

I replaced slopes with stubby legs, this resulted in a stooping, almost disturbing physique, where the head is larger then the body. I also switched the teeth and horns, they are not nearly as blocky now...I also gave the new goblin green hair...
Thank you, and please tell me what you think.
