I think its huge as well as exspensive.But its the biggest set ever isn't it?Well if I had the money to see and buy all that I maybe would.$500 is a bit exspensive for me though.

I am very excited that the inner skeleton is made of many light bley bricks. This will be an excellent castle parts pack. Of course the model itself is very impressive.

I really wonder who could afford a US$500 parts pack.

I know that if I were to buy this set, it would be for the model itself. And I definitely can't afford another one to be a parts pack!

If you have a thousand dollars in you're pocket you could...Well I would get it for the Model too.but I think it should be cheaper....too expensive..

You have to consider it's the biggest set of all time (according to lego). I think it's overpriced also.

Yea I asked that in my earlier post...I don't go to Lego.com a lot any more now that C-C here.

I do not think that it is overpriced. The price per element is 9.6 cents (US). This is around the average 10 cents per element in regular sets. Judging previous SW sets, you could easily sell the five minifigures for $75 or more on ebay. Then your price per piece would be 8.2 cents. Or you could buy two copies and sell one for double the price when they are discontinued.

I never thought of it like that... I guess it is a good price then.

I knew a little how they priced their Legos but know I know for sure. Well I can still say its out of my budget.

This is indeed a great looking Lego set. But like most of us I can not afford to buy it at this stage of my life.
