diagonal wall
diagonal wall
hello!
i built this small castle, because i wanted to practise making a diagonal castle wall, and a very detailed tower:

please tell me what you think about it, and how i can improve the diagonal wall.

An excellent start, the proportion of this MOC need a little work but you are definitely headed in the right direction!

thanks!LEGOFREAK wrote:I like it a lot. seems very realistic to me. The main tower could be a keep or just a tower. Could be a part of a larger MOC or a stand alone. I like the diagonal wall, you did great on it. This is not a boring MOC at all.
NEEDS SOME MINIFIGS WALKIN THE WALL THOUGH.
it was just to trie, so i did not use minifigs yet.
i think i will make a larger MOC of it, but i did not have time to do it yet.

Looks great, as the others have said, it is a very realistic design. Regarding the diagonal wall though I think you can get it to look a little better if you were to use brick hinges at the corners & green tiles underneath the wall to make it appear "attached" to the landscape. Hope that helps

Nice looking diagonal wall. I have indeed noticed that some castles have their curtain walls at various angles to each other, and to the keep, and so the need to re-create a diagonal wall with Lego bricks is a very important task. I think that you have achieved a successful result with your diagonal wall project. I personally want (and need) to create a diagonal wall for my upcoming Lego castle.
Overall, I would say that you have done a great job. Well done.
