Excellent SNOT river and snowscape. You've incorporated a fantastic array of building techniques and tricks. It must have been fun to build (and envision).

But the structure itself mystifies me. Is it a bridge? Some of your detail pictures are too close to see how they fit in with the whole structure. The rune-door has me scratching my head.

It mystifies me as well, Alan! Halfway throught the project I realized that the slope was to steep to be a believable bridge. The backstory on what's there now is that whoever found this ruined bridge decided to set up home there. He built some small wood structures in the shelter of the collapsed stairs (there's a ladder there now) and posted a KEEP OUT! notice on his front door.

This is a great MOC E!

I kept tabs via Flickr, and am still impressed by this! I always love snowy MOCs, and have been planning on doing own for a while. I will certainly look towards this one whilst building it!

That makes for a good back-story and explains the door! Now, what are we looking at in picture #3?

A cop-out. That was going to be a mirror of the front side (door and ladder) but I kinda made a cage room instead. There's a large 'secret' stone door in front and then that iron cage door made with the fence. I need a LEGO dog for it though.

I agree with Darkspawn about the design but it all looks nice. Snow Mocs are some of my favorites.

Yay for SNOT!

I love it, all the details are great, and the building techniques are superb. The snowscape is a really great idea, and using all the slopes makes it work really well, with funky angles you wouldn't otherwise have. My only complaint is the tree made with the slopes...you can't make it look snowy!

Interesting snotty snow. The bridge seems a bit steep though.

Some very nice techniques in there.

Love the flower on the top of the tree to finish it off.

Love the woodwork under the bridge.

And I'd like to rip your door design without the sign for my Hut. Is that okay?

I don't post anything I don't want people to use. Go for it!
