2007 sets in LEGO stores now!!!

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

According to this Lugnet post by Clifton Chambers, all of the new sets are now available in the LEGO store in Potomac Mills, Virginia. Presumably this means they should be available in official LEGO stores now.

send me on my way still smiling,

Some are delayed, the Tysons Corner Lego store being one. Supposely the larger stores like Potomac mills got it slightly earlier.

That would be cool, however I called the Washington Square (ie Tigard) store today and they won't be expecting the sets till early June. They do have a minifig bar however, and may have princess parts, etc.

He he he... I'll get to hit up four stores in less than a week. Turns out our Memorial Day Road trip will take us within seven minutes of two Lego stores (Ontario and Glendale)... And with the two from last weekend (San Jose and San Mateo), its going to be Lego overload... :D

My poor fiancee...

I wonder if they have been released in Australia as well. I would guess, that they haven’t hit the shelves here yet. But that will not stop me from having a look at my regular stores this weekend.

For everyone else in the USA, enjoy your purchases. :D

I was at the Washington square lego store about 10 days ago and they had a minifig bar but they didn't have any parts to any new minifigs.

Another area report... I'm not going to have a chance to go to the Tysons LEGO Store any time soon, but I did swing by Fair Lakes this afternoon on some other errands. The TRU there has just about all the new sets for sale: plenty of the 2007 Castle, City, Mars , ExoForce, and Racer. I think the only stuff they were missing were the new Star Wars sets. And yes, unfortunately the prices were marked up with TRU's seemingly KB-esque pricing system, also.

We must have the slow ships bringing Lego to our shores in Australia.
