Some decals for the Castlers. (Updated)

Post by Lamanda2 »

I've been doing some decal re-draws today, not all of them have been castle, actually, very few. But I found a couple nice designs that Tony hasn't already made.

I made these decals using the free program, Paint.Net, which Patrick shared over here for you all.

10/10/07 EDIT-

Alrighty, I have gotten myself a Pro account on Flickr now, which is just perfect for my decal sharing. With no waiting for images to go public, I can share the whole folder with no worries. :)

Here is the link to all of my decals uploaded to Flickr so far (Still working on some uploads and the like.):

-My Decals-
and if you are headed straight for castle just click here to enter the Castle Set. Mind you, some of the Oriental, Ninja, and Pirate torsos are also very useful in your castle world, so I would suggest you check them out too.

Here are a few of my favorite designs:
-Peasant (Or Merchant)-
-'07 Knight-
-Dragon Guard-
-Pirate, Ripped Shirt-
-My Custom Wooden Shield Design-

If you have any suggestions for different colors, or if there is a certain official design you think I should give a try, just let me know and I may try it out.

Please do not alter these designs, especially if you pass them off as your own.
If you use any of these decals, please give a little mention of credit.

Quite nice, Amanda. I presume you're using Paint.net?
In any case, they look awesome! The scarecrow looks very useful...
Nice stuff.
...and that's how Equestria was made!

Amanda, these look great. Thanks for sharing them with us. All I need now is a decent printer and some decal paper.

Not sure what kind of printer you have, but I just use an HP Inkjet printer. You don't really need anything fancy.

As for the decal paper, I got some off eBay a while back, and I hear the kind from Micro-Mark is decent.

Wonderful Amanda! It looks that Paint.net is working out great for you, all of these are perfect. May I request Babloo with black jacket/vest, dark red undershirt, and dark gray belt?

I've been searching for an islander torso, but I was never able to find one.
So you must be the first to make one of the official islander torso's.
Do you plan to make some of the other (2) islander torso's?
I know some people on the Eurobricks pirate forum will be eternally grateful  .

Those pirates look also awesome. I like the "Red & White (With Scarf)"-torso a lot!

Thanks for sharing your work!

I wasn't sure if I'd make them or not. But if people would like them, of course I will.
Man, I havn't stopped over at Euro-Bricks in forever!

I'm happy you like the pirate decals!

Sure you can. I'll add it into the title when it's done.

This is an excellent bit of work here... I especially appreciate the peasant torsos. Although K. Hall and T. Sava have made some great torsos, you can never have enough to paste over your less desirable figs, creating a nice mass of peasants that every castle pack should include.

Thanks!
Knight Templar
n. pl. Knights Templars or Knights Templar
1.A member of an order of knights founded about 1118 to protect pilgrims in the Holy Land during the Second Crusade.

Could I request the new princess design, torso and robe? That'd be awesome!

Great job on all of these Amanda! I see summer is treating you well, with much time off and inspiration.

Too true, peasants are something I always have way too little of.

Do you have a good reference picture straight on from the front?
