Were you fooled?

Did we fool you? Yes, the Battering Ram image is a fake :)

Let us know if you feel stupid or you caught on right away. Would you want Battering Ram to be the next castle legend or would you pick another set?

Well, when I first looked at it, I believed it until I realized what day it was. As soon as I saw the date, I realized it had to be fake. I guess I was skeptical at first, but not that it was a joke...just whether it was reliable info or not.

And yes, you people are evil!!

I was born cynical, I rarely believe anything is real until I have it in my own two hands. April Fools is one of those days I am always aware of. Now the Legend was pretty well done, but the Gray tub didn't fool me for one second. TLC would never make a tub that would cater so well to the AFOL community. I have a few expletives to enhance what I think of the goat bile they have been serving us lately, but I will keep it to myself. The jokes kind of opened a nerve with me. Just seeing the possibility of greatness made me more offended with the new grays and the ugly sets from the KKII line. So no I wasn't fooled, but I still would have liked to see something like this truly offered.

Yeah, you got me. The tub I new wasn't real, but the Battering Ram, I really wish that is what was coming. It is such a great army builder for two factions. I was never aware of today being April Fool's Day, I thought that was 3 days ago. Gee, guess it's time to take a look at a calendar.

I didn't give a thought about the date - I was simply wary because I didn't believe the spiel you gave. It just didn't ring true. Didn't think about it any further until I noticed the more obvious Old Gray Tub fake which simply shouted April Fool! So, no vote in the poll - you didn't take me in, but not because I realized the date. What can I say - it's an election year and I don't believe anything I'm told!

At first I thought this was very real. Then I had the luck
to ask Ben E. if this really was the case, he privately
told me that it was a fake and told me to keep it quietly
until it was revealed.

This fake legend and the "fake tub" demonstrate one
key that shouldn't be ignored.... that Lego fans want
cool castle sets. LEGO Wake up.... Give us Castle fans
what WE want, not what (you hope) will look good on your
bottom-line.

Just my thoughts...

I knew this had to be a fake, but I went and searched every Lego site just to be sure. [deleted] I was so pumped! Even knowing it was fake I was so excited that it might be true. You guys rock, I mean stink!! :(

I wasn't fooled. It just didn't look like a real lego legend box. Simple.

The "Legends" printing on the box didn't look right, but it was about 12:30am when I saw it. So technically it was still Wednesday night to me, yeah, see there!!! I didn't know about the tub. what is the deal there? You Farmers! (the only "F" word my Mom would allow as I grew up).

You fooled me, because, usually, you don't put rumors on front page. You only put verified information, usually. :?
