Serf fig

Post by CastleMann »

Since I realized my postion in life(I mean on this site), a serf, I decided that's what my avvie should be, and that I should change it every time I advance a rank. (BTW, what's the next rank after serf, anyone know?)

Anyway, I made up a little scene on a green 8x16 'brick'. It stick 2 studs over on the wheatfield so it ends up being 10x16, but whatever. =P

I'm just glad I'm not a gong-farmer anymore.

Oh, since I don't have a pitchfork, I tried out a scythe. Do you think it makes him look too evil, like the grim reaper or something?

Your photography is top notch, and it's will help separate what you do from simply being a builder, to being an artist. :)

Your avatar is great as an avatar but even better as a MOC.

:)

BTW Be ready to change your avatar a lot if you plan on doing so with every change in your post/rank/thingy.

I can't even keep track of what I am anymore. XD

lol Thanks! I always try to get good pictures, and luckily I have a pretty good camera (given there's lots of light) but I still haven't got a really good setup for castles and bigger MOC's.

Yeah, that's about all my tan bricks, and my only brown 1x1s. =P

Very nice job :)
I think the scythe was a good choice, doesn't make him look too evil, it only makes the angle of your photo much better :)

Brilliant fig!!! I love the scythe (the brown handle helps keep it looking like a farm implement, rather than evil weapon). The photography is great, and it's nice to have a companion to my ex-gong farmer!

Heh, I love it. It kind of paints a pretty picture of serf life.

Very nice man. I like the brown scythe, and the fence.

Just wanted to note that I noticed you've already changed your avatar. :)

I think it's cool you're actually giving that a shot, I considered it before but I'm sooooooooooo lazy about some stuff. XD

Anyway, rock on, CastleMann, rock on.

EDIT - Your new avatar kicks megablocks too. ;)

Thanks for the great feedback everyone.

@Wunztwice: Thanks! Yeah, I may go back to him once I get tired of changing my avvie all the time. BTW, I've always loved your fig ever since I saw it years ago when browsing through C-C.

@Sidewinderl: LOL That's true, but it was completely unintetional. xD

@LORD DOOM: Thanks! Yeah, I'm going to try to keep up with it at least until I get tired and find a fig I want. I may go back to the serf. Never know. =D
