CCCV Entry: Troll's Den by Sir Nadroj

Post by SirNadroj »

Hey!

Here's my first CCCV entry (that I've released, anyway!) inspired by Josh's Troll Farm (http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=285666 ~ give credit where credit is due!)

This depicts a troll den ~ and the Papa Troll is very lazy, and the kids do all the work. One Troll Child washes clothes by hand, while the other skins a rabbit. The poor baby is crying: yes, another use for that mandrake head!

I've been making some BL orders for my CCCV entries, but I picked up some extra Scala elements for the heck of it, so I guess I found a good use for them (rug, bottles on the shelf and Papa Troll's pants.) Why not, right? I'm always game for trying something new.

Feedback's appreciated, since I haven't officially entered this yet! Thanks!

Very nice creation. I like the use of the Nesquik rabbit: clever idea!

Cool, I like it! I think we are on the verge of inventing a new theme: "A Troll's Life"!

I was going to ask why the one is skinning the rabbit up on a shelf, but then I thought, "Why not, they're trolls...". :)

Build On,
Josh

That seems quite likely actually (after the cool troll farm)... and why not? It's so cool!

I think the use of the bottles is excellent, and they fit perfectly in the troll's hand! The "little ones" are my favorite part, however, especially that baby. :)

Excellent use of the Nesquick rabbit, by the way... for some reason I am feeling a compelling urge to get one now.

Great stuff!

Cool! This is quite weird, I mean Trolls can read? Perhaps they are instruction manuals for skinning rabbits ;) Very interesting & well done :)

I'll bet that thet they're picture books. Or maybe chamber pot paper material.

Thanks! That's a good idea!

The real reason he's on the shelf is because there wasn't enough room on the baseplate!
