gun-arm...

Post by boses »

Here is a way for making gun-arms that stay in place and are still poseable...no cutting or gluing is required...The UFO armor holds the gun-arm in place, and allows for more than standard movement ( the gun-arm can point to the side) the figures on the outside of each pic are the ones with with gun-arms...The figure with the green sword is not the focus of this post...This kind of arm design has lots of possibilities...Metroid anyone?

Thanks, please tell me what you think...

I really dig this... And I'd use it if I had some of those UFO armors.

Peg legs are out, gun arms are in! The new Agents line will have an official alternative to this, I think.

Tried it, love it, will use it again.

This is a great technique.

You sir, are a mastermind. I connected it to one of these, http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?P=30561 and made jointed elbows for a robot. The articulation is supreme, and it looks great!

That's pretty cool. Super easy, nice flexibility, and the right size for something like that... Great work! I'll have to bear that in mind

I always look at your ideas. i dont always reply (sorry). But i like almost all your creations. But this gun arm looks awesome. And when i'm going to create something in the space theme again this idea will probably be used. And i will credit you for it!

Has anyone tried to make gun-arms with the new goblin armor? I've tried just about every armor piece except the new goblin armor...

The goblin armor is for the 2008 series of castle...The armor is not listed on bricklink, but I have seen it in several places...I was reminded of the new goblin armor when I saw it on Lord Doom's avatar...

I thought it might work because of the shape of the shoulders on the new armor...I am not really sure if the armor has even been released yet though...

thanks for the replies...
