my first dwarf
Ok guys, i really really was not going to make a dwarf army! I was going to sell off my dwarves or trade em, but....... I got a dwarf mine sat<for 45 bucks!!!.> and i just love my dwarves.
The guy with the red beard, Gimli! I am impressed. Man if the elves are this good.
Anyway, has anyone else felt the same upon actually having dwarves in hand?

Does this mean you're not going to trade 'em anymore?timber_wolf899 wrote:I was going to sell off my dwarves or trade em, but.......
That's too bad, cause I found out I love them just as much as you once I finally had some. I just want more now

Between plotting to kill you all and chasing balls of yarn, I also build MOCs

The new dwarves have their disadvantages but to me they are much more advantages. I like them. I still will keep using ones with the face print beards for armoured dwarves with full helmets but will use the beards as well. Gives a nice variety to them and allows some to wear armour. I will post my favorite dwarves up soon...

I have a dozen dwarves thanks to 3 dwarven mines. They are my favorite castle guys realeased yet. However since my smallest faction of men is 25 guys I need more before they can join in my armies. Now that the new sets are out I am sure the ranks will fill quickly.
Unfortunately the dwarf with the troll ship and the dwarf with the mine defender both have the same beard. Since you really can't see the torso, the beard is what makes the dwarves look unique. I don't want tons of the same looking dwarves so I may have to wait for the chess set or buy more of the mine sets to build up a decent force... A dwarf impulse set next year would be fine but it better not have another red beard! A battle pack would be the ultimate! You know there would be variety in that!
By the way hammers and axes are my weapons of choice for the dwarves. I'm a traditionalist.
Only the torso is a viking piece and has been said you can't even see it. The beards are unlike anything lego has made in the castle line. The beard, the cool helms, and the short legs makes them unlike any other characters in the castle realm. They look stocky andcompact and strong just like a dwarf should. Congrats lego on a job well done.Give them longer legs and they're Vikings.
