Stable

This is a stable I built for local LUGPol's stable building contest:

The goal was to build a modern "LEGO City" styled stables, on footprint of 64x64 or less. I started few times, but it was taking the wrong direction, either a Castle or Paradisa one. Finally I got my groove back and here it is ;-)

Wow that looks great. I love all of the wood. The tree also looks nice.

Great job, Hippotam. This is really quite well done. The color combination and the construction of the roofs give this a feel similar to the missions I studied years ago, and the interior is very nice. The stable doors and the yard are great, especially the trees.

The guy on the out-of-control cart is funny.

Excellent MOC, and nice color combinations. There are a lot of nice techniques used here, that can also apply for Castle-themed buildings, and modularity is always a win.

I really like this.

The use of wooden walls for the roof is a technique I haven't seen before. It works really well.

The small details, like the treed cat, small girl feeding the pony, and mechanic under the truck give the scene a very "human" feel, for lack of a better word. It's almost is if we were there.

Nice! I like the roofing technique. How did you stick both roof prices together?
