Skellie arm connection

Post by Sir Dano »

I know most people prefer the old ball joint connection, but I prefer the clip style. Here's a way to convert your old skellies with just flex tubing.

I hope this helps somebody else. :D
(If anybody's wondering about the pic quality, some friends were up for the weekend and they let me use their camera.)

That's cool. Does it make the arms more prone to falling off though?

Not totally sure, I don't think it does. It doesn't compress the ball joint or expand the arm clip, if that's what you mean.

That's great! i am looking for a way to convert the old skeletons and your idea is really cool. So how do we get the flex tubing? Can it be brought from Bricklink?

This is a good way to make this. I like the idea, and may actually use it on my own skellies if I get the chance.

Thanks!! As i have 40 old skeletons for conversion, so how pieces of the flex tubing do you think is enough for all of them? Just need to buy the right amount so as to minimise the wastage.

Not really sure, to be honest.
