Hello,
I just looked at the helmet of the dwarfen king (from 7036 Dwarves’ Mine) and recognized, that the golden colour of his helmet has flaked off at some parts. Instead of gold, there are now a lot of grey parts. I bought the set three weeks ago and did not make anything, that could explain the loss of colour...
Has anyone else discovered such problems?

You could try contacting Lego about it. They might replace it, if its a quality issue.
