Troll Battle Wheel is now $19.99 at lego stores.

Post by DaleDVM »

I picked up several of these at the lego store in Schaumburg Illinois. They just came out today at this price. They are now $19.99. I guess they are on sale, but I note they are regular price on S@H. I know they are priced this way in all of the Chicago lego stores. I imagine probably across the country as well.

I really do not like this set very much but at this price the figs alone are worth it. Thanks to Adam who brought this to my attention at the store, as they weren't even out on the shelves yet.

aw man I hope that extends to S&H, TRU, or phone special.

I'd been wanting a second one. <parted out the first one to make a siege gun casement, bridge, and so forth. So many parts in that set, and a nice little squad of men!

I actually really like this set (and so does my 2 yr-old daughter!). I'm planning on breaking down all of the troll models and making a super siege engine with all the pieces and the huge wheels from the Troll Battle Wheel.

That's a pretty good price for all that dark brown. The building of it was pretty boring though.

I went to the one Lego store not far from here and they only had one Troll Warship left.... a 12-14 year old had off with three dwarf mine defenders right before my eyes, a bit rude taking something I was staring at, but I already have several and he was pretty happy about such a haul... Looks like Castle sold well this year. I cannot get back there as its 2 hours away anytime soon but they said they would have more stock coming in before Christmas.

Would get a wheel if they had had them there.

From what I understand, this was a mistake. That is why the price didn't make its way over to S@H. Tony and I went by the Houston store, during my visit to Texas, and they had held 3 of them for us. But I guess this was a one time thing. I've forgotten the exact details, but Tony could fill them in.

Thanks for the heads up Josh. Will just keep my eyes open. Sure seems like the US gets some great sales. My inlaws saw some great deals on the Warship at their local target... wish I'd have been there, I'd had picked one or more up.
