CCCVI - Tapestry Two - Knight

Post by Bluesecrets »

My second tapestry finally finished last night. While I am still waiting for a little more sunshine to take the contest pictures. Here it is.

I will link the other pictures as soon as I have them done and edited.

It is a knight, riding to his duel on horse back. Its 66 studs wide and 106 plates tall.

Enjoy and thanks for looking.

Oh! There are so many great entries right now I don't even have time to comment on half of them, but this one really stands out. I don't really know what to say.

Brilliant however, seems like an appropriate word.

Yes.

Brilliant, definitely brilliant.

I really like the clouds. I know there are some other amazing parts, but that seems to stand out to me. Very nice!

This came out great. I can imagine how difficult it was to get the horse to look right, but you pulled it off masterfully. Another one that I could adorning a hall in a castle someplace. Actually, I could see a maiden using this like a quilt to keep her warm near a fire also. Great detail and very classic looking.

That horse is so amazingly done, well done! The knight is amazing too, and the detailing of it all, amazing.

This is great. It really captures what I think the admins wanted from this category, and has its own unique style to it. Excellent entry!

Very nice, and it must have took you forever to build it. I really like the tasselled edges.

Another glorious Blue original. You should start numbering these and start selling them off as exclusive pieces of art.....ah, it would look so lovely next to my grandfather clock. Glorious, simply glorious.

The grandfather clock that's next to your wall of framed CCer photos?

Who would you be bumping to put up the tapestry? Not Bruce!!

Seriously, Blue, I've seen this guy's apartment, and you don't know what an honour it is to be offered some of that exceedingly rare wallspace. :P

Thank you for all the kind words and encouragement. I truly enjoyed making this tapestry.

Here is the brickshelf folder for this tapestry if you want to see all the pictures that were taken.

Formey and Robinhood..you two are so great! You keep making me giggle for hours reading your posts about my two tapestries. I'd be honored to have my tapestries on RH's walls...even if there isn't a lot of space.
