Market Invasion

Post by Thor »

Whats the point of a nice quaint little village market if it isn't plundered?
Orc style!

Finished building the blue building and decided to take some pics. I like the look of the BW's and sepia toned v.s. the color but wanted to see how they turned out. If you havn't bought this set yet, stop reading this and go to the store and BUY IT!

Great job! I like how the pictures make it look like an old movie!

Nice use of the box in the background of the first pic.

Looks like you stole the pictures from a LEGO history book. Great work, and I agree, the new Market set is awesome fun!

Manythanks my lego brothers. I was up late last night posing and trying out different camera angles. Those who have not gotten a market set yet need to go get one today! I will post more pics once I get the blue building built and have time to rearrange the figures.

-Lol Puddlegum, the instruction booklet has more than one use :)

Well done, well done indeed. I, too, like the addition of the Box Art as a continuation of the scene, as well as that little lens flare off the knight's sword. It really helps add mood to the scene.

Everything you put into these three pics is amazing! And using the boxart as a background, simply inspired. I have to admit I thought that the background was real at first.

I took the pic at night and my apartment has really bad lighting, so I put a light directly above the mock and that Chrome long sword really reflected the light. It would be nice get the same effect with a chrome breastplate too!

I'm really wanting to do a cavalry battle scene in with the sepia toned like these :)

In any case, does somebody of you know how to add a lens-flare to our pictures with softwares like, for example, paint.net? :?:

Usualy it is a lighting filter in the software.

edit: great program, but can't find the lensflare...
