A Vignette A Week 02

Post by Voran_the_Scholar »

The second Vignette A Week. Two days late online, but it was built by the deadline, so it still counts. =) So, after some contemplation, I decided to give the characters in my vig something of a backstory after all, which I will reveal in future vigs.

"The strongest chain may be broken if a single link has been weakened, the mightiest nation may fall for one man's ignorance." ~K'ednni Proverb

The K'ednni are a matriarchal orc mercenary clan. Because of the perceived inferiority of males, only female warriors can become Shadows. Shown in this image are two Shadows exploiting a weak spot in a castle's defense. One of them should be familiar to you. She is a K'ednni Rakhar, leader of a small party of K'ednni warriors, hired as scouts and infiltrators by...well, you'll see. Enjoy! Feedback is welcome!

It seems to me that these vigs make a story, and will continue to. I like the idea, Voran, and the vigs themselves are neat. I prefer this second one over the first.

Love it! Just a question, but what exactly happened here? Two Troll Assassins killed a bunch of Redcoats? Nice Vig, anyways. :)

Yes, I'll be making vigs on an ongoing story for a while. Well, at least they'll be connected in some fashion. It'll be hard to produce a continuous "story" using only vignette-sized MOCs. But I shall do my best.

In answer, yes the troll assassins killed a bunch of redcoats. But are they your average redcoats, or something else entirely? We shall see.

Thanks for the comments and support, guys!

I love all of the subtle details in these. I'm thinking of challenging myself too...
